A bit too dark for me. A color in between this and the bamboo one would be perfect! Also, one of the major factors which would make me buy the cover (or not) is the price. Since I'm in India, the exchange rates kill me and so anything above $10 is not really worth as I'd rather get a back cover which loses on looks but gains on grip.

I can relate! According to tracking my bamboo arrived at the post office in town this morning. If the mail lady can leave the nose candy alone long enough to bring it to me I will be installing the bamboo in the next day or two! :) I do prefer the darker look of the walnut stlye swap cover though...

Do you use a cover or other protection over the bamboo? How is holding up to wear?

I would ask about the ETA of the walnut cover but I know better. ETAs should be officially banned!

My bamboo cover was at the local post office this morning too, I haven't used it yet. Ideally i would use it without a cover, but we'll see how that goes...

Mine just arrived! As with everything from OnePlus I had to sign for it. Now I have the tempered glass screen protector and bamboo style swap to install when I get time.

I'm with ya on the case dilemma. They cost too much and look too nice (IMO) to slap a plastic cover on and hide. If I liked the look of plastic covers I could have done that without buying the bamboo. At the same time... I've dropped mine more than once and like it too much to see it destroyed by gravity. Stress... I may need to spend some time thinking about cases that let me see the bamboo but protect the phone. Idk.

There is a list of cases that fit with the bamboo if that interests you in the future. Good luck.
