Questions About OP2 Dual-Sim Management

So one of my friends is looking for a dual-sim phone with a 5.5" diagonal, so I naturally recommended the OP2 as a viable option. Turns out that they are looking for some specific sim card capabilities that I shall explain below. Let's call them SIM1 and SIM2.

They shall be able to block all incoming calls from SIM1 but NOT SIM2.
They shall be able to call from SIM1 ONLY.
They shall be able to use data from SIM1 ONLY.

Essentially, SIM2 is only present to receive calls but not to make any from it nor to consume data from it. SIM1 is there to do the calling and data consuming but must not take any calls.

Now I've never owned a dual sim android phone before so I do not exactly know if this is possible. These options should preferably be set to function all the time, i.e. no "once or everytime" dialogue.

Appreciate all of your responses beforehand.

All these can be done in any dual-active-sim capacity phones , including OP2 . Tell your friend to go ahead with OP2.

I wasn't aware the OnePlus 2 can block incoming calls on either sim, so if that is a deal breaker look elsewhere, otherwise it can do everything else.

You can block calls in the phone options. Almost every phone has this option!

I have a question about the dual SIM feature; do both SIMs have to be the same type?
Like two NanoSIMs or two MicroSIMs or whatever it is that the OP2 takes?

It's worth it? I mean.. make sense if u have 2 different operators. otherwise it's better to keep just one sim and deactivate the second one, right? o_O

I don't have to OP2 but in most phone if you go to your dialer and then go to settings it should have a rejection option. Then you can input whatever numbers you want to reject/block.

Now I'm not 100% that 5.0 offers it, but try it out and see.

    Hope it helps!

I own the OP2 and as far as I'm aware it has no option to do this, so unfortunately does not fully meet the OPs requirements.
