It seems so, nothing else makes sense as all you say is true.

It'd be simply ridiculous if it is 12:01 PDT. People who live on the East Coast then gotta wake up at 3am?
Have they even considered this problem?

gotta do something to keep #HYPE alive.

Limited supply, different launch dates, etc.

All sounds like another OnePlus scheme to try and make it seem like this "Flagship Killer" is in demand.

If I buy 3T in USA, wondering if the 4G and other radio signal will work in India or not? Pls advise.

Look with which bands or frequencies the operator of India works

I truly understand that they needed this "hype" commercial scheme to get a solid customer base - but Oneplus is long past that phase. People already know Oneplus is making good phones tailored towards the folks who actually know what they need. Oneplus has already established a decent brand - not with their hunger marketing since Oneplus One, but with their products. I believe Oneplus is making good products and that's the only reason of my return.

But seriously, customers no longer need this type of marketing. When you launch a product, please be sure that you are not imposing a burden on the current existing fans.

    I like Oneplus. That's why I'm complaining.

It says right on the first page 12:01 PDT west coast / 3:01am EDT east coast. Apple does it this same way.

I'd be checking at 12 then. Or call back and see what a different Rep says.

I can't imagine it being 12est, that would be 9pm the day before west coast. They are never going to do a 12est then another at 12 pst launch. Est would have a unfair advantage in ordering.

Yeah, but OnePlus messed up since they sent out an email saying it will launch 12:01am east coast time. I'm lucky that I'm on the west coast, but I will double check and refresh the page around 9:00pm.

I'm so annoyed...I thought it was open for purchase at 12:01 EST. Being in CST, it was perfect. Now I have to stay up until 2am?! Makes no sense! Making it 12:01 EST is good for everyone.
