    Hi Guys!!!
I love OnePlus and my 6T...but the one thing that's been bothering since I found it is the fact that we cannot hide the quick settings tab in the lock screen...

The first I found it was the 2nd I bought the phone...

Also found it's not been fixed for years...

Its 2019 we must be able to fix this...

So guys let's just raise our voice and just get OnePlus's attention to this....

This is default Android behavior, I don't know any phone that has quick settings locked out in lockscreen. OnePlus won't change it.

Yeah it is....But most Android phones don't let you change settings like Turning On Flight Mode or Location without asking for lock screen password or fingerprint.. I think that's a security threat....And it has to change...

it is coming as an option with the A10 update. makes little difference if your phone is stolen though.

Settings > security & lockscreen > cog icon next to screen lock > "disable quick settings panel on lock screen"

thieves are always one step ahead, they don't bother (unless they are very stupid) playing with settings. they just do things like put the phone in a foil lined bag (to block all signals) until they can get somewhere safe to reset the phone and flash the imei. if locking the quick settings did anything real (apart from deter your friends from pranking you) then no-one would bother to steal Samsung's - but they do).
