quick charge is when a battery it's charged at the 100% of its charging capacity, not to 100% of charge, but at the ratio the battery actually accepts power being injected into it. Stop bullshiting. OPT2 does not have quick charge, nor is quick to be charged. Other phones get 70% in just 30minutes or less. OPT2 will not even get 20%.

Thats exactly my point...usb c is worthless without usb3 so why not give us Qualcomm Quick charge instead as it has REAL benefits.

I am in no rush so I would rather have USB-C. I just love the convenience of not worrying which way to plug in the phone.

I'd go with quick charge. Just because everywhere has a micro USB charger. But it didn't used to be that way. Its fairly frustrating trying to get your charger in only to realise you had it upside down. Oh wait no, It was right all along. #embracethefuture ,

I will leave the gimmick that is and happily settle for the quick charging.

Quick charge! USB c is in its infancy, especially since a crippled USB c at only 2.1 and not 3.0... Basically micro USB with a charger no one had right now.

Quick charge. Although, there have been rumors that the new Nexus phone has USB type C and fast charge

USB C just because it one of the first phones with it and with such a big battery I'd only have to charge once a day which would be overnight so charge time doesn't play a factor.

I always thought quick charge was a gimmick, but after using it on my N6 I am not sure I could go back to a phone without it. If I did, the phone would need to have some serious SOT.

I'd opt for usb c...not sure why you asked this question...quick charge is designed to work on type c connector as well...so they can co-exist.

This is extract from qualcomm's faq page

Q6: Does it matter what type of charging cable is used with a Quick Charge 2.0 adapter?
A: Quick Charge 2.0 is designed to be connector-independent. Quick Charge 2.0 can be implemented with a variety of formats, including USB Type-A, USB micro, USB Type-C, and other proprietary connectors.

I used to be the guy - "getting it wrong 80% of the time" . But after using OPO's charging cable, it's innovative design is just amazing. Just plug in the charger with curved 1+ logo facing towards you (or flat surface facing away). Now , I can plug it correctly with my eyes closed 100% perfect all the time.

Quick Charge FTW , with above design cues in cable design. No need of jumping to USB-C with a step back to slow / conventional charging.

I would like to see threads like this started by OP when they trying to decide what features to add to up coming models. The community is a resource that most companies don't fully take advantage of.

What has USB C got to do with the battery?
There is no quick charge on the device, it actually takes longer to charge than the OPO did.

for the size of the battery and price of the unit i think thats a decent time. It will also charge from 0 to 70 quickly as phone batterys tend to limit the charge after this to protect the battery.
