Hi all, remember when 3t came out there was a ram management problem as it was known that only 4gb ram is used instead of 6gb? As is described is this article for example https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-get-around-oneplus-3-ram-throttling. I have recently flashed android 9 (latest available from OP support as of now). I was wondering things in the ram department are they the same as it used to be or have things changed and now ram is fully utilized by the system? thanks.

well it just doesnt seem like its utilizing ram properly. Its always less then 4gb used, like half it usually, and apps are hardly ever in memory when i bring them up back, doesnt feel right at all. There has to be something that needs tweaking.

How many apps are you trying to keep in memory? RAM usage also doesn't remain pinned at max of 6GB. It clears itself.

I am facing the same issue of poor ram management but this seems to be a problem with oneplus devices even if you purchase a oneplus 7 Pro worth 49000 it would still perform lesser on ram management as compared to budget realme or redmi devices.
