RAM Management Issue - OnePlus 7

    Vinay_ , Aug 27, 2019 :
I'm quite worried that an SD855 Flagship with 6GB of RAM struggling to keep apps in memory.

I mean I'm a normal user, for example 5 minutes ago I was using Prime Music app, I got a call then the app reloaded also the song which was playing the middle came to the starting point.

Not just Prime Music, Mainly Chrome I have 4 Tabs open then I use Twitter and came back to chrome then Chrome Reloads. My old OnePlus 3 still works like a Charm in RAM Management, what kind of optimization has been done on OnePlus 7?

It's Fast, No Doubt but it Fails at Keeping apps in memory..

I'm on OOS 9.5.8, if any settings needs to be modified suggestions are welcomed.

PS; I'm not on Battery saver mode so please don't text me like noon
Also I'm wondering why no one popped this up in the forum or it is just me this thing is happening to..

Everything was okay till this point. You start with a sarcastic post, you'll end up with sarcastic answers.
Because you didn't care to search before creating this thread. There are 100s of RAM management threads on the forum.

I don't know what you are trying to say in this, or you are trying to act cool, but this sentence doesn't make any sense.
I'm glad you going the threads. Continue in the same threads! Don't create redundant threads.

By the way, ram management is a common topic. Didn't have to be device specific. Read the thread for other models too.

I am using A 8gb model of OnePlus 7 and facing somewhat similar issue. The ram can keep approx 6 apps in the background, not more than that. this shouldn't be a problem for atleast an 8gb model. Should not happen with a 6gb model as well

I was always told since I use Android phones (almost 10 years now) do NOT use app killers to save battery, Android is smart enough to take care of that process. App killers do more harm then good. And this is exactly what OnePlus is doing in their OS, I really don't understand that.
