Im encountering random restarts and wifi malfunctioning on my old oneplus 6 for the past 2 weeks. It restarts randomly like even when we are using it or when we keep it idle etc. And the next issue is the inablility of the phone to connect to a wifi network or even inablility to use the mobile data . Ive faced this issue in emergency situations where i should make a call or a text immediately and the wifi doesn't connect or i cant activate the mobile data. And these issues with the op6 started appearing together. And till now, there was no problems as of such. Please do help me asap .

Try reset WiFi and Mobile radios.

Settings, System, Reset Options, Reset WiFi Mobile Bluetooth

Also check if any recent app installation as of 2 weeks ago or so has caused your restart issue. The fact that it suddenly happened would point to an app or apps that are not functioning correctly.

Only other option is the nuclear one.

Do a full Erase/Delete Data button, factory reset. This will restore you to a fresh installation of 10.3.1. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

Go to Settings, System, Reset Options, Erase All Data, click on the Delete All Data button,

Run a diagnostic on the phone.

This is the OnePlus Diagnostic tool.

You can run this tool to check if everything is working as expected by clicking on Detect Now.

Just follow the instructions on the screen.

OnePlus 6 series phone does NOT have to be rooted to use this tool.

Hi! I was experiencing the same issue. I did everything that has been suggested here and didn't work. Wiped the cache, deleted system data, etc. I even changed the battery because somebody suggested it, didn't work. If someone finds a solution please share! (I can't even do a back up, it reboots constantly!)
