    Hi, i'm facing exactly the same issue on my OP8, and i hope that thay fix It ASAP, i can't miss my working calls, if thay don't fix It within next week i'm going to sand It back and change It with an other brand, I'm really disappointed!
    I'm using dual Sim Fastweb and TIM from Italy

    Same Problem here Im with tmobile and the only way i can use the phone is with wifi the Network 4lte 5g not even working i have the phone since June and no fix for this issues

    My t-mobile one plus 8 just started doing this. It's very frustrating. Honestly with the crappy camera quality, and so much bugginess on this device, this will probably be my last One Plus device. 😢 Which makes me sad

    I have the same problem. One issue must be the alarm... every time the alarm goes off it goes offline to Emergency calls only for a couple minutes. It also does this randomly. Tmobile did a reset and that helped for a while but it has gone back to losing service randomly this morning.

    I'm also having the same issue. Brand new phone. Seems to be more stable with Bluetooth turned off. Still unacceptable for a flagship phone.

    check is your APN right! someone say in oneplus have bug there and that is not correct. mine was wrong but still wstching was that real reason to mobile data lag.

    If you're experiencing intermittent mobile data loss, meaning the cell bars are gone and you have no texting, calls, or internet ability other then wifi and if you bought the phone directly from Oneplus, you need to make sure that the sim card is 1. a VOLTE and 2. that the CDMA-LESS (assists in network provisioning) is activated by the carrier. Reach out to the carrier and this will fix it. Even if your cellphone started off working and weeks or a month later you begin to experience this issue, call the carrier and make sure the 1. and 2. are both true.

    The issue seems solved. I got the same problem as dew mind ago. And i clicked.setting mobile once i click the sim 1 access point name. The phone force to restart and about 30 sec. Once it restart problem solved.

    I got my OnePlus 8T two days ago.
    I'm from Austria, educom/A1. Never had an issue with my OnePlus 6..
    Sometimes I loose connection the second somebody's trying to call me or send a sms. Most of the time my 8T is on my desk and it still looses connection.
    Usually it goes from 4G+ to 4G to 3G and then no service.
    I don't have internet when it shows 4G or 3G, only when it shows 4G+ or H+.

    Just wrote an email to my carrier. I'm on OxygenOS 11.0.5.6.KB05BA.
    If it isn't a problem with the carrier, I'm gonna return my 8.. I already read through dozens of forum posts and nobody has an answer for this problem.

    edit: I've tried everything. APN settings, cache wipe, reset network settings, cleaned SIM card, tried LTE/WCDMA only, restarted several times a day (5 times yesterday alone), restarted the phone without turning WiFi on.
    my only workaround to get service again is to go to dial *#*#4636#*#* - Phone Information - and turn Mobile radio power ON/OFF again.
    After that it reconnects again and works for some time..

    Same problem with drei (Hutchison Austria) and oneplus 8 pro (11.0.3.3.IN11BA).
    I've tried everything ( except factory reset - my coming weekend work? )

    No, I don't have multiple smartsphones and sim cards (except for one additional sim card - calls only) to rule out or blame carrier issue / oneplus software. Oneplus 3T/6T worked fine with the same sim card / carrier. (hint from oneplus support, carrier technical support)

    I'm in Hong Kong and I had been experiencing random cell data drop-off in my 6T for a long time, and I have been tracking threads on this discussion. It was quite frustrating when i was doing on whatsapp calls and lost data connection suddenly.
    Recently I reset my settings at Reset Options -> Reset Wi-Fi, mobiles & Bluetooth.

    So far it's been working for me.
    I only had to reconnect to my wifi and bt devices.
    Hope this helps.
