Once you update to 2.1.2 on your OPT and download the latest Camera FV-5 version 2.79.5 (it is rolling out now), you'll have RAW/DNG support. If you aren't familiar w/ where the setting is to turn it out...

    1. in the Camera FV-5 app, go to General Camera settings (the wheel, top left corner)

    2. Click on the paper icon, check-mark "Enable DNG raw capture"

The files will be stored under DCIM > 100_CFV5

I've already opened them up using Photoshop Adobe Bridge no problemo. Screenshot of app below:

You should mention rom and phone you are referring too.
But I assume the rom is Oxygen and the phone is OPT :)

Yeah, sorry, guess I could have been talking about the OPX, but that would have been a fast update by Camera FV-5 guy and so far he doesn't plan on getting one, though I'll try and talk him into it (I got him the invite for the OPT).

    Exactly ;)

I just say that because might confuse some people. And nice of you to give him an invite :)

Is the bug fixes where the date the photo taken comes up in Google Photos as January 1970?

OK for anyone else having this problem in Camera FV-5, change the 'metadata format' to option either 2 or 3. The default '1' setting causes the date to be incorrectly formatted.

Even on my OP2 default ROM, camera FV 5 says device doesnot support RAW capture!
I read in the Oxygen recent update that RAW shooting will be available!
    Whats the deal?

Make sure you have the Pro version of Camera FV 5, Lite doesn't support RAW. I've been shooting RAW now and editing in Lightroom Mobile, although it's a bit limited in it's features. The mobile sync is nice though.

Actually, make sure the metdata option is set to '2' in the new version that just came out. 3 looks like it has the right date, but then reverts back to 1970 when uploaded to Google Photos.

Here's a photo taken with FV-5 on the OnePlus 2

I didn't know camera FV-5 was still receiving updates lol
Installed it on my LG G4 and I couldn't get it to look anything but worse.
