Ha ha ha! One of the comments from OP was have you seen the problem in real life conditions. Well of course 98% of us have not because we don't have the phone. lol. Sorry had to post this.

Sad...sounds like they were on course with the 16gb, and when the desire for the 64gb when nuclear, someone "sped up" the process somewhere, the JDI display, or something, causing the glue not to cure properly/completely. Some say it gets better with time, some say it gets worse with time...still a QC issue if you ask me. ;)

My comment was poking fun at what someone from OP has said. The yellow screen seems to be pretty random from what I have seen from others posting their issues. To many people have the issue.

Their official stance is that ALL screens have this problem, but it's not a problem, so learn to live with it.

Yeah, and it's funny that no review models had this problem, when they now say that they all have it!

Yes its yellow at the bottom - we deliberately designed it that way!!! Stunning decision OnePlue - its beyond words :(

Then again this probably isn't the truth - its probably something they've drawn up to cover the issue as they can't afford to replace them as Oppo did the Find 7a.

OnePlus really do insult us and think we're stupid :(

Time for a customer awareness campaign via social media until we get the truth?

It puts your mind at ease that you'll get an inconsistent screen!!!???? Really?

Accepting a flawed device like a OnePlus sheep means nothing will ever be done about it :(

Sure thing, let's look at reviews from people with a phone. We'll see their trustworthy opinion. All displays are the same, right?

Here's a review by @Ryyenz with his experience.

Here's a review by @DannyFox with his experience.

Here's a review by @blyndfyre with his experience.

Here's a review by @grodronos with his experience.

Here's a review by @SuffinS with his experience.

Here's a review by @Cogra147 with his experience.

Here's a review by @WhiteHartMart with his experience.

Here's a review by @sukanta.hazra with his experience.

Here's a review by @fizik with his experience.

Finally, here's a review by @8080 with his experience.

I found these reviews just by watching for posts by Jerry and Carl. Apparently to consolidate the threads, all of the negative ones are locked. The positive one at the end received a like and was left open.

@Carl , I understand the white screen vs yellow screen and how the FW update can fix that.

However I'm referring to some of the phones where they have white screens but have a yellow tint/hue/band at the bottom of the screen. (I have it and submitted a RMA) I don't think a FW update can fix that. If all the screens are indeed the same, why do some users have perfect white screens and some with white screens and yellow band/tint/hue at the bottom?
