    There is a minimum distance to be maintained between you camera and the object. adjust the same and it will work fine.

    Just visit a nearby oneplus service center and get your camera module replaced. One of my friend had this issue got it fixed for free as his device was in warranty.

    Yeah, it's a hardware issue. Mine did that, and I couldn't be bothered to send it back for warranty. Ordered a replacement camera and the tools to get the phone open and did it myself. Cost me around 20 bucks.

    I have the similar problem as many many others who have it just recently. I just can't believe it is a hardware issue. How can this happen for these many people all at once?
    I can have a normal focus just after restarting the phone but it does not work simply after some time (like 20 min or so). I noticed that shaking the phone might help to solve the problem.
