I really don't understand the hate here... One Plus never promised that it's phones are VoLTE capable. Heck there was no news of Jio when these phones were launched... Now to provide an update/patch for these phones is not an easy task, if it was just a OS level update we would have found alternate custom OS which will enable this but that is not the case, they need to update the drivers in the phone and that takes a lot of effort... Even Google did not release the so called fingerprint gesture features on the Nexus 5x and 6p for the same reason... Stop bashing Oneplus for this, you knew what you were getting into while buying this phone... Get a life... After all Jio's network itself is not dependable yet, I hardly get any signal in my office...

You guys would have never even bothered learning about VoLTE if not for the free offer from Jio...

That's because if they say no you guys will start bashing them saying they are not supporting the old devices and they want to push for the sales of new ones... Even apple has not given any update to their old phones though they have that capability... stop whining guys...

Maybe but for apple an old device is 5 years old and for OP, it's 12 months?

Unfortunately OnePlus don't care about the X. They see it as a mistake and thus it's pretty much at the bottom of pile along with the OPO. Other than potentially a few minor bug fixes and security patches (if we're lucky), official development is dead. I highly doubt they've been working on VoLTE for the X as for them, only the OP3/3T really matter now... :(

Yes,Oneplus should clearly tell their plans so that we can stop checking these OnePlus X forums everyday for the update.

Close this useless thread. One plus India in Facebook clearly said there are no plans to support volte for one plus x.

Those who need volte swap your phone to other brands.

    No more volte threads please..

We are fed up seeing the numerous volte specific threads.

One plus clearly said that, it will never support volte for one plus X.

What is the use of creating a new threads and asking VoLTE.

Nothing is going to happen. Let's forget volte and move on.

Admin & Moderator Pls close all the VoLTE threads immediately.

there is no official word on volte.
and most of customer care guys say its in there future plan.

    they are confusing.

volte or no volte. but as a company , there intention is not right.

they should say firm no and inform same to customer care.

they can confirm it. they are just playing
