Recap: OnePlus Campus Jam Night at Manipal Jan 24, 2020

Hey Community,

We've always been inclined towards doing things that our community is passionate about. With the overwhelming response after OPMF, we thought its only right to take more music based experiences down to different states, cities and in-fact colleges. Introducing you to our college property, OnePlus Campus Jam Night; where we bring in the freshest and the best of music and celebrate with our college communities.

I'm excited to share the recap of the first-ever edition of OnePlus Campus Jam Night at the Under25 Manipal Summit. It was one of the major events of the OnePlus Student Community here at Manipal. Here's what happened:



On the 19th of January, 2020, the OnePlus Manipal student community, organized the first OnePlus Campus Jam Night which was a part of the Under25 Manipal summit. We saw a beautiful performance by Kerala based band, "When Chai Met Toast" which after taking a poll, was the most famous band across the student community in Manipal.



The Under25 Manipal Summit did witness the likes of artists and personalities like JordIndian, Biswa Kalyan Rath and the Artidote. But it was remarkable to end the night with When Chai Met Toast who took the stage with their soulful and heartwarming music. Here's a video that can show you a glimpse of that experience.

Manipal gets really humid during the months of January-March and it was around 9pm when WCMT got on stage to perform. But it was great to see the crowd at Manipal university leave that thought behind for a movement for 90 mins of blissful music.



It was a soulful experience. An experience, which none of the attendees could ever forget. We dwell on such experiences and try our best to create more of the same for all of our community members. There are many more editions of the OnePlus Campus Jam Night that are in the works as I write down this post. I hope more students across India can experience this through upcoming editions.
