I am super happy and excited as I received the One Plus Two invite today, I placed the order immediately on Amazon India and am waiting for the shipment to arrive.
The interesting fact is that I never expected to get the invite soo early. Although I made efforts to get the invite through some of the options that were provided I do not think I did something drastic that deserved a jump ahead of 41K folks ahead of me in the reservation list and in groups 1 and 2 of the preferred order for rolling out invites. Through the launch of the reservation system and the various other events I tried to participate in hoping for a invite I was very upbeat and active, once I saw the post on process of invite rollout I pretty much lost hope of a invite any-time before October. To add to that there was a update from Carl on delay of shipping of OPTs.
When all seemed lost and I had abandoned hope of getting the invite,the invite popped up in my mailbox. At first I thought that it was a trick as I have not used OPO reservation and invites in the past and only once I was able to go ahead and place the order on Amazon was I convinced that I have really received the invite.
Now that I have the invite and have placed the order, the mystery is still unresolved. HOW DID I LAND AN INVITE AHEAD OF OTHERs?? What did I do to get this invite. While I am undoubtedly happy about having received the invite. I seek a resolution to the mystery, hopefully I will get to know someday. For now I will focus on preparing for the unboxing ceremony for my very own OPT.
