I've been having this issue since receiving my phone. I get this red tint under low light conditions. Same as the green tint issue. I've reported this issue with OnePlus here in China where I bought the phone. Even sent it in to be looked at just to be told they can't see an issue and the phone was sent back to me. At this pint I'm done with OnePlus, I've been supporting them since the OnePlus 5, buying a new model up until the OnePlus 8. And this is how customers are treated.

what kind of screen setting u have on ur phone in order to see this red tint?

QHD 120Hz, FHD 120Hz, even on 60Hz...same issue. The only way to get rid off it is using DC Dimming.

You're lucky. I'm stuck with this phone. Tried to return it but OnePlus China refuses to take it back. Really disappointed.

I have the same issue with my US OnePlus 8 Pro. It easy to see while scrolling through Reddit at low brightness, with Dark theme on, DC dimming off.

I've been trying to get this issue sorted out for a while with OP. It won't show full screen just a part of the screen. You can see it also while using the keyboard, using dark theme.

I'm shocked. Just received a call from a OnePlus representative telling me sorry I must just accept it. It's new technology and they can't do anything about it. I must just make sure I'm not using a grey wallpaper. What kind of customer service is this?

If I were you report it to OnePlus. The screen looks horrible in low light. I've been fighting an uphill battle with OnePlus and getting nowhere. I'm just hoping this can be fixed with an update. Like I said DC Dimming helps but it's not supposed to be this way.

These are new photos, tried to get clear shots. With low light the screen shows a red tint and a few seconds later it turns green. You can see the screen and keyboard shows red and then green. The two almost perfect photos are with DC Dimming switched on.

Yeah, and that means another argument with OnePlus tomorrow again. As per OnePlus as long as the phone is working nothing is wrong, no need to replace the device.

Dont you have 2 weeks return and refund period without questions there?

OnePlus International it's 2 weeks. As per OnePlus Hong Kong in China it's only 7 days. I've been arguing with OnePlus since I noticed the issue. They just refuse to acknowledge the problem stating that there's nothing wrong. I've send the phone for inspection and it was returned to me as they say they can't see any issues.

Wow. That is unacceptable .. what in the actual **** if I were you, I would just sell the device and buy something else and never look back at oneplus. If they continue they will shunk ship really fast, selling a flagship phone with the support of a 200 phone.. what a complete joke.

I've sent mine to get replaced, if it comes back with display issues is going back to oneplus and ill request a full refund and buy another phone.

Unfortunately the only brand that sells competitive phones is apple, but still, its better to have a Apple device and actually have after sales support, than to have a oneplus and have 0 after sale support..
