For you guys, having smartphones with 60 or higher refresh rates please check out my new app from Google PlayStore:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mdliquid.refreshratetester

You can visually check which refresh rate the phone currently is working on. You can test 60, 90 and 120 Hz.

Please don't forget, that some smartphones must be changed in the settings for using a certain refresh arte. Also there are phones like the OnePlus 7 Pro, which basically support 90 Hz, but not for each and every app. Only by a certain setting via 'adb' it will be allowed for every app. But be careful and set it back if no longer necessary, because it needs more battery.

Is there anyone of you guys the reach 90 Hz with a OP 7(T/Pro)/8. or 120 Hz with a OP 8T?

As mentioned, it is not possible out of the box with a OP7(T/Pro)/8. But some of you might have enabled 90 Hz for all apps, right? For the OP8T I don't know, if it is similar as for 90 Hz and the OP7(T/Pro)/8, so that something special needs to be done to allow 120 Hz for all apps. Certainly, you will not have this option all time on, because if will eat up significant battery, I guess.

I discovered in the net that the 8T is not running 120 Hz for all apps. Only for certain apps, selected by OnePlus.

So don't be disappointed. Your phone is running 120 Hz in app drawer, settings, etc. and pre-select apps, which OnePlus might have tested for sure. But just not with my app. But no problem.

There are ways to enable 120 Hz for all apps (via adb command), but please note that it will have much effect on battery.

Also I found a games list, which can use 120 Hz on the 8T:

I did not found a list of normal apps (not games), but most probably there is somewhere collected by someone.

Ok little Update here I tried a couple of games on that list and to my disappointment none of them displayed more than 60hz and that app that you linked (autohz) can't be used before you have done something to your phone over a pc like copying certain files from the pc to the phone. (Too complicated for me)

You are right. It should not be needed for a user to do that. Users should have the freedom to run any app they want with the highest refresh rate, after showing them a popup saying "Please be aware, that using this could drain much more battery".

But don't let it make you down. Still 8T is a great device, and provides 120 Hz here and there.
