just want to say, that, Android L can be off sure a great step on android, but dont forget that Cyanogen is Cyanogen, they, have reject a offer from google, and no one knows the values, so this means that Cyanogen knows is power, and can be so good than Android L, they can also improve Cyanogen for something like Android L if they want!!! dont be hurry, the start off OS are allways withe bugs and problems, for sure Cyanogen is more stabble for now!

sorry if this questions has been answered, if one plus gets an update, does the phone gets OTA update or have to be a geek to install it manually

I'm thinking that this should be one of the auto Cyanogenmod updates to be downloaded to the one!

Don't hurry it too much please, it is much better to have a bug-free product when you are releasing it. Or you WILL have to clean op the sh*t afterwards.
Remember that the 5.0.0 version of Google will already have plenty of bugs. Knowing that the extra features of CM will have their own bugs.
I had the N5 from the very first day (of Kitkat) and it had some bugs too, for example with the dailer and the camera. You surely can remember there was quite a lot of fuss about the N5 camera untill they released 4.4.2. I also can acknowledge the N5 had some problems until 4.4.2
Don't expect it the be different with the new nexus devices and especially with a full blown new version of Android.

I know what I'm talking about, I have lots of problems with my OPO recently (R38 after a week). Forced closes, random reboots, touch-screen not working properly, ghost touches.
I did a proper full wipe yesterday, it seems to be better but still did I already had some force closes of apps, gapps, google play store -> and my phone is fully wiped !!
    This is stuff that frustrates!

So, please do it properly. Thanks in advance! 3 months seems fair.

And don't let the developers waste their times answering when it will be ready, they are (clearly) working on it and I believe they will be dependant of google when they release their 5.0.2 with bugfixes

99% sure it'll be an OTA update, no company can expect all their users to be fastboot / recovery flashing images to upgrade to new versions of their firmware. Even the tech savvy who could do this in their sleep would likely be annoyed by it, nevermind those who don't even know what fastboot or recovery are.
