Ummm.. If you'd read, there's been a gread deal of information released about Lollipop on the Opo. It's coming before the end of the month (mid-late March was the announced timeframe). And yes, there will be a CM12 ota update alongside the release of the new OxygenOS ROM, which you'd have to flash if you choose to go that route instead.

I'm sorry but I'm aware of the difference between Cyanogen, Inc and CM. I'm sorry you are not.

Having come to the OPO from a Nexus 5 running L, I can imagine they needed to wait until Google had fixed some of the bugs. My OPO experience on 11S has been MUCH better than my N5 on 5.0.X. I'm fine waiting so long as they get it right.

Totally agree! Thats why OPO holds the update back and thats what nobody here whants to here....Lollipop is still BETA....so calm down and wait until the Update is stable enough to be released....
And if stability doesn't metter go and flash a CM12 nightly or any other custom rom and STOP CRYING....

READ THIS THREAD AGAIN. LATER THIS MONTH? THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO RELEASE IT BEFORE FEB 3 AND NOW THEY ARE 46 DAYS OVER. THEY WILL NOT RELEASE ANDROID L THIS MONTH. AND THEIR BATTERY BANK? IT WAS ANNOUNCED LAST YEAR AND IT IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE AS OF 3/16/15. OP PROMISED, I repeat, PROMISED to release android l 46 days ago. You are a blind OP fanboy and are new here so get your facts right. i was a member here even before OP was announced.

I think it's safe to say that both Cyanogen and OPO have done themselves a huge disservice with this delay. Many people would have purchased this phone because of the perception of faster updates, but now that pretty much all other OEMs have beat them, I think many are going to think twice about any future purchase. These two stooge companies need to start communicating with their customers and do some damage control.

Exactly, many people had hoped for a different kind of Android phone maker, one that kept in touch with the community and released updates in a timely manner. Oneplus is not doing any of that, this will turn off many potential future buyers and make us the early adopters look elsewhere for our next phone

Wow.. that's a lot of hate there. You also know that as of today (3/16) that they said the powerbank would be available for purchase tomorrow (3/17) right?

I'm not exactly thrilled at the delay in Android L, but I also fully expected a delay and for them to not meet their initial date. Your math is also off if you count the L release date as 11/3/2014 (per Wikipedia), the promised date would have been 2/3/2015. Today being 3/16, that's 41 days not 46 days over.

There as been info on the release of CM12. It's been in this thread and in other places on the web and on twitter. There's just a lot of noise in between.

Everyone (but India) is supposed to get CM12s OTA. Last I heard on a release date was within the next couple weeks (per the Cynaogen team)
