Terms of Service and Rules
The OnePlus Forums are a great place to read official announcements, post questions and share comments with tech enthusiasts, OnePlus fans and fellow staff members.
We want our members to feel free to engage with others and discuss about OnePlus or any related topics that could interest smartphone users, Android fans or any people interested in technology. In order to maintain the forums relevant and manageable for our team, we’d like you to review the forums rules and guidelines first and follow them when contributing to the platform. Members who do not agree with or violate the general code of conduct will be temporarily suspended or banned from the OnePlus Forums.
1- Content Relevance Members are asked to publish threads focusing on relevant topics of discussion. Conversations that refer to inappropriate subjects such as competition or any irrelevant topics will be edited or closed by forums moderators.
2- Code of Conduct Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. The following actions will be prohibited from the OnePlus Forums:
- Using inappropriate language including sexually explicit, violent as well as offensive content.
- Showing a lack of respect and tolerance towards any forums members.
- Attacking personally forums members based on religious, racial, political beliefs or any offensive reasons that are not related to the topic of this forum.
- Spamming or posting with the intention of selling a product or service.
Members who fail to respect the aforementioned code of conduct will be sanctioned/banned from the OnePlus Forums.
3- Search similar threads before posting or creating a new discussion New joiners are strongly advised to use search functions before starting a new discussion. Other members may have already shared about the specific subject or addressed the question you are about to ask.
4- Writing guidelines Threads should be clear and include appropriate and descriptive subjects in order to provide more understanding to fellow members. The OnePlus Forums is an English speaking community, so members are asked only to post in English. Moderators will be allowed to edit threads or warn members who do not follow language rules.
5- Editing / Closing / Deleting Threads The moderator team reserves the right to edit, close or delete any thread at any time in case a post breaks guidelines. Staff members will send a notification to users to explain the reason why a thread has been modified or closed.
