I appreciate that the OP6 is locked down, and development has probably already started for the OP6T if there is going to be one.

However these are the areas I would love to see OnePlus improve upon:

    1) Move away from the current Pentile display technology, potentially even if to diamond pentile as it improves the screen quality. If we could move to a 120HZ screen that would keep in line with the Never Settle Moto.

    2) Continued work in the Camera department. This is always a moving target each year but as long as they are on par with the competition then it's okay.

    3) Duel speaks (if possible, front facing). I'm not sure if it would be possible to use the screen as the audio source. Sony are doing this with their OLED TV range but not sure if the idea has made it to phones (or if it could even be miniaturised to work on phones)? If you could use the screen as the audio source this might be able to help remove the notch that many people have an issue with?

    4) I would like a slightly larger battery at around 4k mAh. Being able to get 2 days battery life out of a phone would be a real selling point to me.

    5) Dash charge from what I understand is effectively Oppo VOOC. Oppo hasn't yet released Super VOOC but they showcased it in 2016 so it's on the way at some point. Once it's been released, it would be great to have Super Dash Charge for even faster charging times.

    6) Software wise: Upstream to latest Linux and CAF branches and add option to disable sensors when the screen is off for battery life and security.

The OnePlus 6 is already built, so I don't think they might how consider your suggestion, btw your suggestion are cool but they need to make it a budget flaghip so i don't think everything can be done

i know, that's why i said for later OnePlus flagships. not directly for the OnePlus 6. I'm sure some of it could be done and still be a much more affordable flagship, like the camera software and also water-proofing perhaps

someone can always keep on saying do that and do this. it's not that they don't know how to. But they are bringing the essential components at a low price. that's why people preer OnePlus over apple and google.
that's why we are OnePlus fans

Yeah, you just need to message oneplus support on their site and tell them you wanna pay to replace it and they'll sort out an RMA for you and arrange to collect and return your phone. They wipe your phone tho so make sure you're prepared for that but it's like getting a brand new phone again. I got mine replaced in my OP3, definitely worth it.
