The possibility of having modules installed without root. Just like Xposed, but created uniquely for OnePlus devices. These modules could be created by OnePlus software engineers, or by anyone with the knowledge to do so (subject to approval), and according to the running Android version. The modules can only be installed if downloaded from the OnePlus website, would be tied to your device´s IMEI or serial# in order to avoid the software´s corruption, and, abide by the regional laws from where the device is being used. Call recorder not allowed? Noiseless camera? Unauthorized screenshots? No install. (Keeping this clean, folks).

The following procedure would be done in order to activate it; The forum creates a new category, "The Workshop", and, from your account, you input the serial# or IMEI of your device in exchange for an unlock key code that you input through the dialer. This would unlock the Workshop option in advanced settings, and from there, just load the new functionality. Input the key code again, the setting gets hidden, the modules are uninstalled and everything goes back to default. A module to do an encrypted backup of your device 100% to your PC and back? A module to improve the audio? Maybe more buttons in the navbar? Everything rootless!

This would give an all new meaning to the word "OnePlus", and be a major factor of differentiation between all the manufacturers.
