the official alpha is not yet compatible with 5.1 build roms... thrs a Super alpha available, but not ALL mods work in it..and if u install an uncompatible mod in it, ull get a bootloop...so my advice... if u REALLY want xposed THAT much...stay in a 5.0.2 rom (like COS12, exodus, Oxygen, etc)

I second this advice. Xposed is a must have for me as well, but it's very buggy on 5.1 (And most CM based ROMs)

I'm running Oxygen and Xposed perfectly, I would really recommend it. Or ParanoidAndroid

I believe it works well with all CM roms...as long as its 5.0.2 build :)

Really? I've tried it on several and noticed that my GravityBox settings were freaking out with CM's custom settings. Bootloop city lol

Maybe I missed something though haha

Nah...it's probably me :p... I've never found any use for customization apps like GravityBox when I'm in CM :p... I use other apps...like Amplify, Greenify, Minminguard, etc... and they work perfect :)

Its working perfectly fine! Flash the android sdk22 arm after installing xposed installer 3.0 alpha 2!
Make sure which mods are working and which are not and you'll be fine!

Lol I don't know why you all take the 'Alpha' thing so seriously. The unofficial alpha has been working much better for me on 5.1 than how the official ever did on 5.0. It might be due to the ART improvements but 5.1 is awesome in terms of performance.

You need the correct zip, and everything should be fine. I've got a lot of modules, a small handful don't work fully, but they're getting updated pretty fast so it's a no biggie. Btw, I'm also running resurrection remix.

I am using the Super Alpha too. On its XDA thread, you will also find the list of widgets that are reported working and non-working and also an easy solution to fix the bootloop (I think I read it somewhere)
Let me know if you don't find the list there (I am typing with left hand now, would take some time for me to search and paste the url right now)

How's RR treating you ? I fond it to be super customizable ! I had an issue with Google play services crashing though. How's battery life ?

I am facing the infamous "Mobile Radio Active" bug. It gives me around 18 hrs uptime with 4 hrs SOT. But the mobile radio is active all the time in the background. Whatsapp is currently eating 21% battery :(
But RR seems amazing, loads of customizations and butter smooth

Its hell. If i am connected to mobile data, the battery continuously drains even if the phone is idle.
I have to either turn off data or stay in Wifi. But I can't afford to do so. I have to be connected to my mobile data for like 12 hrs.

Much better battery life than CM12.1, zero reboots (unlike several per day on CM12.1). I get 8 hours on screen battery time, compared to 6 on CM12.1.
