hey guys is this possible? my battery life has been halved from what it previously was. i was getting 1 day 17 hours previously on 1 charge but now im getting just over a day.

I had no previous issues from the firmwares i have been on. i.e. 25R - 38R. I would like to revert back to 38R.

I am not Rooted although my bootloader is unlocked. Is it possible to do this without loosing all my data?

I think you can flash it but you might need to make a back up and restore to that? I'm not certain though

I did this when updating from 25r to 30O, I didn't like it and reverted back to 25r. I had to find a signed zip file and download, then boot into recovery and upload the zip. I did not lose any data, but its always good to back up!

Is it absolutely essential for you to go back? Maybe you should explore all possibilities to revive your battery life first.

I have tried options from other threads like disabling mobile data when not in use, gps off, screen brighness, google services disable wake lock etc etc. but theres no bringing an extra days battery life on this firmware.

can anyone point me into the direction of a signed 38R file? so if i enter recovery i just select update and then the 38R file?

sigh. i just lost all my data. i backed up with TWRP but after 38R was flashed, TWRP files were lost. no biggie but just annoying to have to download all my apps and stuff again.

Did you solve your problems? My battery today is draining fast with 44s too.

i reverted mine back to 38R and im staying here till the android lollipop update. and i lost all my data. but it could be because i did not uncheck update CM recovery before flashing

I've heard good things about 25r, is it worth going back?

you get better battery life on 25R apparently 12h Screen on time. i never recorded what battery life i got with 25R. i had some touch screen issues with 25R so 38R is by far my favourite firmware atm.

I would like that to. But don't know how, I don't want to do something Wong. I have never root anyhing. So don't know the right way... I want to be able to update via OTA after. And I heard it won't be possible if root
