In Mumbai AIrtel 4G is only at Vasai Virar and Nalasopara as of now. Just saying be careful elsewhere and wait for official announcements.

it will be out this year . reliance is working on it from 2011 ... 4000000kms of fibre laying takes time mate.plus lots of new sites and towers to install coz 4g can't be used on 3g capable towers ..

Got upgraded to 4G Sim and had to wait for 20 mins. to get my sim activated. I was under 1 GB plan previously (3G) and continuing with the same plan after converting to 4G with no extra cost (same 1GB per month). Even the Sim replacement was free of cost.
    Location: Bangalore
    Service provider: Airtel

    Hi Guys,
I am one of proud owner of OnePlus One. Everything going well in my mobile. Now the problem is I am unable to connect with Airtel 4G. I am using Airtel usim, means 4G sim n I have 2GB data plan. In my mobile settings it is selected LTE ( recommended). I am staying in Bangalore n here i have full 4G network coverage. But it is showing only H, H+. Hope somebody will help in this group to rectify this issue.

I saw another user post previously something like this. Apparently, Airtel doesn't recognize OPO yet in their list of 4G enabled phones. Calling customer care should help. Do let us know how you resolve the issue!
