    thanks :)

so quickly! Although with the battery drain we have in COS12, I doubt whether I want another potential battery hogging feature!!

Yes, I have done what you said.... after couple of charge cycle... im getting approx 1 day 12 hrs battery life, but that too with minimal to moderate usage. The odd thing that I have noticed is that.... now... Whatsapp and Yahoomail app are consuming around 15 - 20+ percent of battery. So when I chat more.. or using yahoomail app, battery starts draining faster. when this is the case I only get 3 to 3.5 hrs of screen On Time.

No.. just got an popup to download it..... what is the result?
is it good? I dont want to take a chance with the performance.... I had a bad experience with CM 11 upgrading from 44S to 05Q.

Hey Buddy, I manually flashed CM12S but now the OTA is showing on my systems update and automatically starts downloading it. How do I stop that? Is there a way to stop it permanently or will I have to cancel update each time it starts the download?

How will I get further updates if the system is now aware of my manual update?

Edit: Actually looking at it again the version I have installed is 12.0-YNG1TASOYL and the update is for YNG1TAS17L. Are they the same? The update is 598.4MB.

Where does YNG1TAS17L file gets downloaded?
Downloaded YNG1TAS17L OTA system update. My one is rooted and I am using TWRP (Disabled "Update Cyanogen Recovery"). So I clicked "ignore" when the system update screen asked me to enable "Update Cyanogen Recovery". When I clicked install update, it reboots to TWRP. When I try to locate the YNG1TAS17L update file, I can't find it. How to proceed?

    Updated:
    Found the file :
    /android/data/com.cyngn.fota/cache
    1. Rebooted to TWRP
    2. Wiped, Dalvik cache & cache
    3. Installed the update
    4. Installed super user
    5. Rebooted
    Done!!
