Thanks for reading man!
Exactly the same boat! I've dealt with slickwraps a couple of times without issue until one time I ordered a skin for my laptop and after 3 weeks they still haven't shipped it yet. I contacted their support and they kept giving me an robot automatic response even though they were posting as humans.
After a month I got so frustrated I contacted PayPal and opened a case against them so I can get my money back. And after doing some digging it seems alot of people were being screwed over by them and alot of them would be blocked on Twitter when they tried to expose them.
Luckily PayPal insured me I would get my money back and would you know the moment I opened my case my skin was shipped almost 3 hours later. (funny coincidence)
They wanted me to close the case but I didn't care anymore and continued on and got my money back.
Also recived the skin, but at that point it was too late for negotiations.
It was really an awful experience and I never dealt with them again. Dbrand only from now on.
This was one of the things I was scared about, but it turns out it fits like a glove and I never had any issues. I usually take the case off when I'm playing at home so I don't loose the feel and my skin still looks solid since the day I applied it.
No issue with peeling
very correct , dbrand's skin doesn't peel as long as u applied it as explained in the tutorial, the most important thing thing is the hearing with a hair dryer after installation
Ahh thanks. Skins have never been a problem for me. But my only concern was the case interfering with the skin, as everyone said that the case was peeling off their skins.
But as you said it doesn't interfere with skins, at least for 6T, I might give it a try.
It was a pleasure~
I did notice though that the solidshield ones (the one with a back plate) doesn't seem to fit that well with the skin. The bumper case only fits because of the Lack of back plate.
I had a Rhinoshield with my OnePlus 2 and loved it (that thing saved me so many times). Frustratingly they didn't make one for the OnePlus 5T that I'm on now so I guess I'll just have to wait until I buy my next device.
I don't know whether it made an effect but I was one of the people that berated them with emails to start making OnePlus cases again and look where we are now.
I loved the review too!
How much did the skin and bumper altogether cost??
And yeah rhinoshield really lives up to their names. I've been out and had a few drops myself. Which is why I'm always comfortable knowing this cover is wrapped around my phone.
I had problem with rhino case and dbrand skin, it was rly hard to take it off. I had to use a heat gun to little bit stretch the case
how much did the skin and bumper totally cost?? can anybody help me out?
the rhinoshield looks ugly .
You phone looks sooo sick with that yellow skin, and the bumper case is Soo nice too, but I think the Rhinoshield is sadly tooo overpriced , their bumper is $33 Canadian [e]1f616[/e][e]1f616[/e]
dbrand skins usually go for about $9, and that rhino bumper is around $25, $33 if your in Canada [e]1f614[/e]
thanks for the info but I'm in India :3
does removing skins damage the phone body?
this seems a lot like a marketing ad......
