I think OnePlus leave it yellow on purpose so you can prepare for the new os android lemon.
    Got it.

If the yellow screen is indeed a glue issue... if they waited a few more weeks between batches to ship phones out, this would of been prevented. None of the phones from the 16GB early-owners contests had this issue, as far as i know? :p

A new oneplus (functional) would be best, but a full refund is fair too.

Oh I know many companies would refund it... but OnePlus is NOT going to. As stated by multiple complain threads.

There are a number of threads floating around the forums discussing warm colors. To avoid confusion, we are consolidating responses in previous threads where these issues have already been discussed.

The issues people talk about refer to two separate concerns, a warmness across the screen and a slight yellow band on the bottom of the screen.

The warmness is due to software screen temperature adjustments to make the screen appear more natural. We recognize many of you may prefer a cooler screen and we’ll address this in the next OTA. Read more: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/re-yellow-screen.40239/

There are no differences between the screens in different production batches. All devices may show a slight yellow banding near the bottom, visible in extreme circumstances and not impacting daily use. Read more: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/winners-which-one-is-the-one.42475/

We know many of you are still patiently waiting to get your hands on the One and aren’t yet able to see what we’re talking about for yourselves, but we suggest taking a look at the reviews of other members here on the forum which have been overwhelmingly positive. If you think that your One may be affected by a quality issue, please contact Customer Support for diagnosis and solution.
