Ringer volume decreases by itself

    Hi all.

I'm having an issue with my brand new OnePlus 7T.

Out of nowhere, the ringer volume is changing to zero. I'm missing calls because it just won't ring... I can turn it all the way to the maximum in the settings, but a few moments later it goes down again.

Note: the slider is in the ring position.

Any solution for this? I can't have a phone if I'm constantly loosing calls...

    Thanks

Same here. I do notice that incoming calls, even texts, seem to reset the ring volume to low.
Of course, OnePlus is just a cell phone company, and will never help resolve the issue, because their entire help system, like every other tech company, is designed to keep you from getting a complaint resolved, unless the phone burnes down a thousand houses or something like that. No, I am not anti-OnePlus. Good phone generally, but why can't they fix a ******* problem like this? Google the same with Android Auto: has sucked for years. Still sucks.

Its a setting in android to automatically reduce the volume of the ringer. Go to the phone app>settings>sound and vibration>raise to lower ringtone (disable this one)
