    BUMP!!

Updated thread with my latest experience from OPO RMA/Warranty customer service...its not looking hopeful which leaves me very disappointed at the moment. I truly want to believe in this company and that provide a great product for a good price with good service behind it. I hope this ends well, will keep you all posted on what develops.

I'm so disappointed right now in the quality of service I'm getting. I was a fan from the start. I feel let down by OPO right now....

You should copy all of this to the reddit sub. I have been fortunate with my OPO, but prospective customers ought to know about this, and OPO has a rep for closing threads like this.

Sorry to hear about your plight @ceb1121, maybe some bad press will convince them to honor their warranty.

Call your bank and file a charge back on the credit card today. Its defective item, hardware problems. Their cs response is outrageous (only when its PayPal/bank dispute / press uproar do they respond in kind. )
google RMA oneplus.. Good luck, I hope ull b given a new device.

I will try and do that! Thank you for this advice, I will probably hold off before doing this and give opo one more day to reply before anything.

Threads like these are driving me the other direction now. Even if this were to happen 6-8 months into using the device, any other manufacturer would consider that as a warranty issue.

For this case, I'm sorry to say this, but unless you escalate through paypay/bank they probably will not take any other stand.
    Good luck.
