I backed up my data and copied the opbackup folder to my Pc. Now after getting back to the stable build i placed the same folder in internal storage but when i try to restore it from OnePlus switch, I don't see it picking up the backup folder. Am i missing something here?

I know I can always do that but that's not what i am asking. Why am i not able to restore data from the backup file is my question. and it's not just apps that I backed up. I backed up everything that I had. I don't want to waste time by sorting those folders one by one now.

I don't know. This is why I back up my stuff with Google Drive. Try moving it to Drive and downloading it from there.

Yeah, no. App data is usually saved server-side, photos/videos should be uploaded to Google Photos and contacts to Google Contacts.

This is just what I needed during the lockdown, it's better than watching Netflix...

Yeah I get that. I just wanted to know what's the issue. I have used switch before and it has worked without any issues at all. not sure what went wrong this time.

Maybe it didn't survive the transfer? Or maybe it's too big to fit.

2 OB builds a month. And OP3/T OB stopped on July 9. OP6/T stopped at April end. So 2 months difference. 4 builds.

or 2 builds?... Wasn't it One build per month sometimes?

Your choice, just suggesting options for now.

OnePlus launcher development is independent of OOS, so hopefully we'll see the Google feed option come to the 6 series devices via the launcher.

File not downloaded properly, completed its full size 1.82GB, but then also its show error, its not in required format, after copying in root folder also, while trying to local update, file was not shown on that place.
two times tried download, both the times same error.
    4GB wasted

OB builds became fewer recently in the OP6/T. The average is 19 days.
