They say good things don't last forever. Thank you OnePlus Team for Amazing support for the past 2 years. still remember the time I had shifted to Open beta 1 back in the day with the launch of Android Pie.
    Ciao OnePlus!

I rolled back yesterday on my wife's Op6t and here is a short summary of what i noticed:
The roll back was smooth. As a precaution i disabled all locks and removed pin.
Post roll back the data was easily restored via oneplus switch.
    Now what we all lose
    1. No VoWifi although there is icon options inside settings>display> status bar> icon manager.
    2. No optimised charging in battery.
    3. Battery seems not as optimised as beta. Still will wait for 2 to 3 cycles.

my thoughts, OnePlus should not be rushed to introduce too many phones in year, instead they should focus on updates for older devices. 4 phones in year is too much to maintain the software updates and customer satisfaction. looking at the updates in non pro versions they are minor and doesn't justify the updated phone production even the case with 7 pro and 7t pro. my point would be provide update for atleast 4 years like Apple doing for there phone (5years). that will build the brand value of OnePlus even further. to suffice this they can release mid ranger to produce more phones if they want. just a thought i know this won't going to happen. 🙂

    Thanks,
    Prasad

What am I doing wrong?? What should be the file name extension? By default I get .zip.jar which doesn't even show up in local upgrade option. I manually change it to .zip which shows up as an option but then doesn't go through successfully 1587793728222.jpg

The file is in .jar format, remove .jar from file name, it will work.

this is totally unfair Oneplus 3 launched with marshmallow out of the box, include that oneplus 3 got total 4 major update ( marshmallow, nougat, Oreo and last pie, why we are not getting that last updated ??? we got only 3 major update Oreo out of the box , android pie(9) and android Q(10), we all oneplus 6 and 6t users deserve to be get one more update which is going to launch in 2020, everyone who is reading this message please support and do copy paste in this same thread , may be they will listen to us and yes if oneplus not going to provide that last update we deserve , I don't know of others but myself never going buy any oneplus device in future, or will purchase second hand , the only Reason I bought this oneplus 6 in hope of getting maximum possible updates in whole industry other than pixel... please everyone copy paste this message in this thread and also feedback Oneplus about this and one more thing is no more flagship killer, now oneplus becom flagship himset and this doesn't suit oneplus to like others ( samsung , LG ) , we chose oneplus to provide better performance than samsung and LG and if oneplus is going same as other then what is the point to buy oneplus.

Can you prove where the delay had happened? For OP3 and OP5, there was a delay only during the major update rollout. All other updates have been on time.

    Stop the scare mongering.
And please stop the conspiracy theories. Is the history serves right, you'll get Android 11 too.
Don't pickup your pitch forks prematurely.
Yes they are. You have any problems with others having friends through this forum? If so, get yourself checked.
