That's the issue. My phone is running like it has full bars and it'll show full bars for awhile, but it randomly goes to no bars without actually impacting my signal. I know it's not a big deal but it just bugs me .

Signal strength is firmware from OnePlus and not the ROM. All the ROM can do is show it accurately, or lie like OOS does.

that's not an advantage to me. I'd rather stick with AOSP.

I'm on Vertex ... I don't like the idea of a Dev taking a bunch of open source code from other people and not sharing his code. He did some great work getting RAW mode working on the OOS port, but won't share his changes to other devs.

In some cases, he's refusing to share with the very same devs his own is based on. He thanks them, but what kind of thanks is it if you mention them and don't return the favor?

And he focuses a lot on the compiler. That's not where real gain takes place.

Someone complained about the Telegram group on XDA. I got banned from there! LOL. So, I kinda think he made a point.

Vertex is bare bones AOSP for the most part, but open source, responsible Dev, and I've managed to add back all the bells and whistles via 3rd party apps. OMS/subs is built in and that's all I need :)

That doesn't sound good to me either. He pick and pluck from other sources, and made it his own and not sharing.

And from the pure fusion post on xda, a user said on the telegram group, they are rude and vulgarity is send to those not saying nice things or flattering them. Interesting insight.

I see. Kinda clueless what to look for next. Right now things seem fine on PAEX, but in case shit happen, need to look for alternative.

Vertex is good, but heard some feedback on Waze issues. That's a big turn off.

I tried it and it seemed to work, but I don't use it on a regular basis. I'm not sure what the issues are but AOSPA has the same problem. It seems to be a Waze issue with a lot of ROMs
