On the April 30th update I keep losing mobile signal, I'm in the same place as I was before on the earlier updates and didn't have this issue. Any suggestions.

You can really install it either way. What I do is setup the rom and then nandroid it and finally flash it in the event that something goes wrong!

Are you talking specifically about this ROM or CM13 in general?

I personally have not had any problems with bluetooth in a long time.

What I generally do is download the update, go into recovery, flash the update, flash SuperSU, Wipe dalvik/cache (although I'm finding I don't need to...the phone knows what to do...but habit), reboot.

All goes well. If anything goes wrong, it's usually a bad download which happens, albeit rare.

I know it's stupid to quote myself, but I could really use some help with this and this forum is my only source of support for my OPO. It's very much non-practical to have to reboot the phone to recovery each time I want to copy photos to my computer.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Could the bad download be a reason for me facing the issues of lock screen not working (unless I set up a pattern lock) and quick settings not opening? The download had paused twice and resumed due to spotty network

Hmm, not sure. Usually with a bad download, it's all or nothing...like you wouldn't even be able to boot.

What exactly is your problem with the lockscreen? If you don't want one, it's "none". If you want one but you don't want to input any security, it's "swipe". Otherwise it's the usual pattern/pin/password thing...

Lock screen does not appear at all if it's set to swipe. If its set to pattern lock, the quick settings refuse to open after the first unlock. Also, I noticed this happens only if I install gapps, but I doubt it could be an issue with those as I have used the same nano 31st march build of open gapps for all MM ROMs that I have tried without any issues.

Just for shits and giggles, why not download the latest open gapps? I have not had this issue and don't remember others reporting it so it sounds pretty isolated...
