    rikardo1979 , Nov 21, 2014 :
here is my mod of 4.4.2 ColorOS v.2.0.35_Beta

    • easy to root
    • recovery updating script removed
    • removed chinese apps
    • added android keyboard
    • added OPPO Find7 camera+all plugins
    • added international theme market
    • changed default DPI to 380 (really nice) [custom launcher recommended as the default can be buggy with this settings]
    • some tweaks in audio (louder earphone speaker, microphone sensitivity turned UP)

    Files to download

    A0001ROM_12_OTA_021_all_R1213_wipe_RD.zip 644.7MB
    root_find7_2.0.0i_supersu_2.14_rdis.zip
Official PA-Micro Modular GAPPS - original thread

    1. flash the rom - (Clean install needed= Wipe Dalvik Cache+System+Data+Cache)!!! So make sure you have a backup!!!
    2. setup the phone after first reboot
    3. boot to recowery
    4. flash root - root_find7_2.0.0i_supersu_2.14_rdis.zip
    5. flash gapps - Official PA-Micro Modular
    6. wipe chache+Dalvik
    7. reboot
    8. start SUperSU and update normally
    9. reboot
    10. sett you Google account
    11. enjoy
For those who would like to stay od default launcher and to use the default widgets, as mentioned you need to set default DPI back.
    So how to do?

get any file manager, like Root Explorer and edit this file
    /system/build.prop
quote the line ro.sf.lcd_density=380 with # or remove it
Than reboot and all should be back to default

Question....after flashing gapps, does it break the stock calendar? I can't launch the stock calendar from the calendar widget.

    not sure to be honest
you have to test yourself, but should be OK.

If you know how to link the stock calendar after flashing gapps, that would be wonderful.

Also, are you able to get google location to work correctly?

I did write to the Chinaman in the Chinese forum to check if he is able to get gapps to work correctly....still waiting for his reply :p

Well....normally when you move from one place to another, the weather app will be able to location you and update the weather based on your location (this is without turning on GPS).

In this case, it does not work with ColorOS + gapps. Location is not working based on Wifi + Mobile Network.

Hope you know what i'm trying to say

    I did....but still no go.

To test....download Waze from Playstore then run the app. See if it detects your location without GPS turned on.

And while you are testing with Waze, press the home button and wait for about 5 seconds...see if Waze gets terminated on it's own.

This COS is great but I've notice these few bugs from the early 4.3 beta and now 4.4.2 beta so just wondering if it's just me or others are having this issue. It's not a deal breaker....just checking ;)

    Thanks for the reply guys.

well, when you launching Waze there is a warning information that it requires High accuracy, so means GPS+WiFi(data)
