same here. using it now on my Galaxy S3 and also my galaxy tab 10.1. revived both devices to brand new status. got my 1+1 the other day and plan to install slimkat on it later today.

EDIT: there are actually 3 variants of the slim mod for the 1+1. the stable/nightly slimkat forum seems to be here. XDA has two others - the sabermod version. not really sure which to choose. likely going with this stable one from here, linked from slimroms website.

I'm using the SlimSaber version since the day I received the opo and it's stable as a rock.

SlimKat versions are built for various platform so the official version won’t have all the latest and greatest features and/or build optimization just because it's not possible to support those on all platforms. Custom builds can and often will give you those extra's.

I just asked an opinion, from those who use this Rom.
just enough to make a judgment like an answer.

It's configurable - Settings>Navigation>Hardware Buttons> Enable custom actions, then decide which button you would like to have it active on

    2 steps:
settings>Navigation>Global Menu> add reboot option (if it isnt already there)
Settings>Security>Advanced Reboot - change to whichever option suits your fancy - I use "Hide on Lock Screen" As I struggle to think of a situation where I would choose to go to recovery without unlocking the phone first

you would have only had to read 3 pages back to see comments on battery life

    Hey together!

Maybe someone likes to help translating SlimLauncher to your mothers language?
Don't know how to use gerrit to commit your translation? No problem: just follow my instructions here.

    Translation done allready:
(Some updates are still on gerrit and not included into the weekly build 8.9,
to check for open translation visit https://gerrit.slimroms.net/#/q/status:eek:pen project:SlimRoms/packages_apps_SlimLauncher branch:kk4.4 topic:translation,n,z).

    Have a nice day!

You are welcome to help translating other parts of SlimKat also to your mothers language :) Sometimes only small parts missing - be part of Slim :) Our Core-Team is bussy on makeing SlimKat stable as possible and adding new features, so there is not much time for translation for the Core-Team.

    FBIL and dcoulombe like this.
