    Now I'm back on stock.
    But I have tried all the custom ROM on my phones.
    Been flashing for years on my earlier Samsung phones.

    very very stable.
    battery stats: 1day 22hours 50 mins since last on charge, 33% left, screen on 3 hous 50 mins, total length of phone calls 33 mins, music has been streamed via bluetooth for 4 hours

    Btw, are you using 8.8 or 8.9? Do you flash the weekly release whenever it is available? I find it inconvenient to flash every now & then especially if you are using your fone as a daily driver.

    On 8.9 I had multi touch issues with 8.8.

    Flashing a new weekly is only a 5 minute job as I use online nandroid backup to duo a backup every week and it copies it of to my nas whole I sleep

    I am using the SlimKAT standard kernel works fine for me. Have used custom kernels in the past in my note 2 but to be honest most of them caused more issues than they solved. Am running build 8.9 with no issues. Governor currently set to interactive while u try to find the most battery friendly settings. The best battery life I had was with build 8.4 and 8.6 the latest doesn't seem to be quite so economic
