    giveme13s , Dec 6, 2016 :
    Hey guys,

This is a thread for my build of Resurrection Remix.
The builds are based on the official sources with few additional/changes, such as full Substratum support, Daydream Virtual Reality support, permissive SELinux, link/unlink notification sound, Google Assistant, and compilation with UberTC compilers.
All credits goes to Resurrection Remix team, me just compiling the sources and add several things :)

    -INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS-
    - Download the latest build
    - Download Gapps
    - Take a Nandroid backup
    - Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
    - Flash ROM using TWRP
    - Flash Gapps
    - Reboot.
    - Enjoy!

Notes on flashing Jan 7, 2017 build (and afterward):
    • It is recommended to use gapps package that does not have google search app. Recommended to use Open Gapps pico.
    • Having read that Velvet.apk (Google App) in Open Gapps has problem with "OK Google", Google App beta version 6.10.33.21 (300726891) from apkmirror is used.
    • After flashing rom, the Google App will be put in /system/priv-app/Velvet1 directory (the app is named Velvet1.apk). Reason is that Open Gapps pico package will erase the app if put in /system/app/Velvet/ or /system/priv-app/Velvet/ directory.
    • If you are sure that the gapps package that you are using (other than Open Gapps pico) working fine (especially for saying "OK Google"), please do this:
      • After flashing the rom, in TWRP recovery menu, mount system, then use TWRP's built-in file manager, go to /system/priv-app/, and delete /system/priv-app/Velvet1/ directory
      • Then flash your gapps, and any flashable zips you want
    • If there is info that future released version of Google App doesn't have "OK Google" problem anymore, the Google App will not be included in the build, and you can use any Gapps package having the Google App. (will make sure that the function still working....)

    -UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS-
    - Download the latest build of Resurrection Remix ROM
    - Take a Nandroid backup
    - Flash ROM using recovery
    - Flash Gapps
    - Wipe cache
    - Wipe dalvik cache
    - Reboot
    - Enjoy!

DASH charge is working, also multi-window.
    Stable enough for me :)
Battery performance and SoT depends on how you use your phone :)
VoLTE... don't have chance to use it since there is none in my area yet

    @givemw13s

THX man :) ... as i'm not that active here, but still, will try to be here as much as possible! :)

Using his RR already over a week ... working perfect, had no FC or Reboots till now!

    Substratum also working perfect (Mono/Art)

Just if i use a white theme the Quick Settings are not themed correctly (for example Belo Theme, the qs are looking something like grey and the tiles not visible) but i think this due RR changed a lot there!

    Awesome bro..you did it finally.
This is the most stable RR Nougat I've used till date.
VOLTE works flawless. It doesn't have bugs of official RR.
Super stable and icing on the cake is OMS.

@giveme13s thanks for that! Awesome work! I'm on the BJRR Build from xda. Is is possible if I drity flash this ROM over my BJRR build (5.8.0-20161129)? Or should I clean wipe first?
