Root Device after installing kernel?

    Caveman17 , Sep 18, 2014 :
After installing a kernel in CWM Recovery, the recovery told me I was no longer rooted, and asked whether I want to root my One, to which I selected "yes."
After this, the phone seems to be stuck on the boot screen for a substantial amount of time. Does anyone have any idea how long the device takes to boot up from this?

    Thanks!

Rooting should make no difference to boot time. Something went wrong for you. Why are you using CWM though? TWRP seems to be the go to choice for everyone (including me).

Hm... That may br... Try holding power (to power off) and then boot into recpvery again... Try reflashing kernel... If it asks you to reroot say no... Then if u want root back... Power off again, boot into recovery and flash SuperSU...
