Root can be done without PC, provided your bootloader is unlocked and you have custom recovery. Have you?

I've tried root in one click on my old phone, but I don't think is the best way to get the root for 1+ phone, cause you risk to brick it

No matter what software you use to root it won't be better without pc. Refer websites or watch oneplus official video on how to unlock bootloader and install latest twrp recovery.
In case if you brick your phone, don't worry you can bring it back to life by Qualcomm recovery toolkit for oneplus 2 download it from xda.

A rooted device means Android Pay, banking apps, and many other apps will refuse to work. You can root with Magisk rather than other methods and this can hide root and make these apps work (but your boot will be slow).

You will need an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery to install Magisk, and this means a PC. If you don't have a PC, I don't think you really need root. Too many people with root that don't know what they are doing.

If the phone is not rooted, take it up with the maker of the app! What are we supposed to do?

there is only one stable way to root, that is only partially stable and that is using the pc to connect your phone, use adb, and command prompts to flash root and flash, super su, along with twrp recovery, it is still not the best idea to root, what if you brick your phone.

Install an app called root checker
    Check if device is rooted
If no, you have 2 options
    1. Boot into safe mode and see if it's fixed
    2. Hard reset you phone
If it says it's rooted, return your phone (As you have warranty or try giving it to a nearby OnePlus service center)
