Bonjour à tous, voici ma petite contribution :
    • Design, Build quality and Portability (size/weight)

    • Display (and Reading Mode)
    • Connectivity, Network and Call quality
    • Battery life
    • Accessories (your favorite's)
    • Other features you'd like to share

Was man allerdings auch erwarten darf.

    Battery Life:

Nun merkt man ihn endlich.

    ciao ;)

    'Never settle'
    OnePlus 5

Design - Killer looks of the mobile. People say its iphone7
plus copy, but in my opinion its not a copy, & if it is
same also then also it has many features which an
Apple company cant afford to have.

Built quality - Meral back + horizontal line + curves + antenna
lines, make it the best ever phone

Portability - So light weight + super Slim

Display - Crisp display with amoled on top, also viewed under
    strong sunlight.
Reading mode- Meant for giving no strain to ones
eyes, & its just superb as its goes itself in the mode
causing no harm to the eyes, just like kindle.

Connectivity, Network & Call quality - Just perfect, very clear
    voice both the sides.

    Performance - Snapdragon 835 + Adreno 540 + octa core
processor, on the top of it Android Nougat -
Just perfect. So smooth, no lags, loaded with
    6/8gigs of ram. Silky performance

Camera - Dual camera + selfie camera that too 16mp-
Deadly combination. My favourite feature. Camera
is just perfect for any type of pictures. Portrait
mode adds icing on the cake. Pro mode is fantastic
Overall camera is too good to rely on.

Oxygen Os - Best Rom a phone can have, customizable,
perfect for day to day use.

Dash charge - My seconnd favourite feature after camera. Its
just flawless smooth, so quick, so fast. Best
& fastest charging technology in the world.

Battery - 3300mah battery with dash charge. Everyone's
concern in todays world is about battery, so this
phone can last for 2days with light, medium usage
& 1-1.5days with heavy usage. Best in battery life.

Accessories - OnePlus sandstone case is just amazing, what
a grip in hand, OnePlus backpack is my
favourite which i wish i could win one.

Overall the phone is loaded with so many features like the gestures, double tap to wake, loud speakers, NFC, & many more. Plus its a true value for money. I am enjoying my OnePlus 5 from day one, its my perfect match.

    One Plus 5 Review

At the start of 2017 I heard a " Rumour " that after the 3t , One Plus's next phone which will be released this year will skip the number 4 and will be called 5. No matter whatever the reasons be I was pretty excited about it. There were loads of rumours that were hovering around the social media. Till a week before the launch date we never knew how the One Plus 5 would look because there were various designs that lot of people were trying to create but just a week before the launch date the picture of the phone was finally leaked.

Initially it reminded me of the "iPhone replica" but the moment I picked up the phone , it completely changed my view. The design of this phone is so well crafted that one will completely forget that it looks like an "iPhone". And it's slim so I had to order a cover for this one. Since mine is a slate Gray it is not that slippery when compared to Midnight one.

The display is something that really impressed me a lot and I m fine with 1080P one since it will save me a bit of battery. I would love to see a bezel less display though just like the S8. Overall the display is really good and got no issues with it.

And then comes the performance. To sum it up in short Barry Allen would love this phone because it is so fast that only Flash could match the speed. Thoroughly impressed with the 835 processor as the apps run as if they are running for their lives.

Battery life is such an important part when you are buying a phone because you don't want your phone to last for half a day and then you don't want to look for a charger in the afternoon. The 5 will last you for the whole day without any issue because the 835 handles it so well. In terms of SOT, I get about 6 to 6 and a half (Average) and my highest SOT is 8 hours and 28 mins and that's ridiculously good. Thumbs up for the One Plus [e]1f44d[/e].

Well I am not really a professional photographer or of that sort but the camera in this phone will really not disappoint you. Tons of features in this camera like the portrait mode, the 2x Zoom and Slo-mo all work exceedingly well except for one department that is the LOW LIGHT. In this department major cameras failed to impress and the One Plus 5 is not an exception. But in the broad daylight it's insanely awesome. Pictures are more crispier than ever. Caution : You may behave like a professional photographer

So overall I just loved this phone and I would recommend it to everyone if they have that kind of budget. I didn't mind paying couple of bucks extra than the previous model because of the kind of performance it packs. Going to use this phone definitely for the next 3 years ( If it lasts [e]1f609[/e] Thank you guys for reading this I know it's long but if the phone has impressed you , one can write a detailed review about it.

    • Design, Build quality and Portability (size/weight)
For me, a 5.5" screen is the best compromise: larger than that is hard to handle, smaller than that makes the text smaller and more difficult to read. It's lighter and thinner than my old OP2, and that might have been the main reason for me to pull the trigger on a new phone; I found the OP2 really heavy and with a case kind of bulky.
    • Display (and Reading Mode)
I like the screen and don't find myself wishing that the resolution was higher. Again, another compromise that came out in my favour: I don't watch movies, but appreciate the extended battery span.
    • Connectivity, Network and Call quality
I am connected to a Canadian LTE network, and have had no problems with phone or data connections. Similarly, I have had no problems with my home 802.11n/ac wifi.
    • Performance (SD835/RAM)
The games I play seem more responsive than they did on my OP2.
    • Camera
I'm a big fan of portrait mode; it makes my photos look like I know what I'm doing, even though I just take pictures of my cat. Low light photos seem a bit noisy to me.
    • Oxygen OS
I love the close-to-bare-Android nature of Oxygen. In fact, it was one of the things I dislike about Asus and Samsung: too much junk in their OS.
    • Dash Charge
I only rarely use Dash. I charge my phone overnight, so it is always ready to give me a day's worth of service the next morning. Dash is for the car and when I'm using it a lot on weekends and need a quick extra boost.
    • Battery life
The extended battery life is a welcome improvement over the OP2; I get less nervous during the course of a day's worth of use.
    • Accessories (your favorites)
I have the sandstone case, and I really think a case is a must have; the phone itself is quite slippery and I was constantly worried about it until my case arrived. Unfortunately, all cases quickly sold out during the Early Access, but they came back into the store quickly too. Sadly, that didn't save me from an extra shipping charge.

Although I have not yet tried it, I am looking forward to the Dash car charger. My OP2 would still slowly drain when car charging and running Google Maps navigation, so I'm hoping that the Dash car charger fixes this for my OP5.

    IMG-20170729-WA0021.jpg Also,
    Punkt 1 Design:
Ich bin vom Äusseren begeistert; hätte mir oben, unten schmälere Ränder gewünscht.
Auch fand ich die Silberkante beim op1 ausgefallen.
Fühlt sich in der Hand wertig an.
Größe und Gewicht sind sehr gut.

    Display:

    Battery life

    Performance

    Battery Life
Einfach Spitzenklasse.

    Accessoires
Ich habe das Case Ebony Wood. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Ich bin zufrieden. Ich finde auch das Sandstone Case schön. Das könnte meine nächste Anschaffung sein. Allgemein wünsche ich mir mehr Zubehör.

    Yashkoths, Jul 30, 2017 :
So I've been using the OnePlus 5 since the past one month and here's my experience with it.
    Design:
Best OnePlus designed till date. Build quality is flagship level and it's comfortable to hold in the hand ,design could be more original but.

    Display:
I'm satisfied with the display, AMOLED screen has good punchy colours ,the support for wider color DCI-p3 is appreciated and the reading mode is also a nice touch. OnePlus can't stick with a 1080p in their next model but.

    Connectivity, Network and Call quality:
I'm experiencing some Bluetooth connectivity issues & call drop issues so an update fix is required, overall call quality has been very good.

    Performance
It works like a beast as you would expect it to, but there are some occasional stutters while browsing through the OS being a close to stock phone and a beefy hardware it runs faster than Pixel but the experience is not as consistent and smooth that's something to be worked on with an update.

    Camera
Camera is an area where I was expecting a lot more from OnePlus ,they working with DXO and all the hype should have at least had a camera where just simple point and shoot gives you great pictures, this is not the case here I have to click many shots to get that perfect picture ,there is so much loss of detail even my OnePlus 2 pictures have more details,
lack of EIS in 4k video & the post processing all these areas need to be worked upon in a major update, look at how well Google pixel implements it.

    Oxygen OS
This is the reason I love this phone close to stock, with useful tweaks here and there, easier to update one of the best takes on Android out there.

    Dash Charge
Again one of the things to love about this phone, probably the fastest charging solution while keeping it cool.

    Battery life
Battery life also tends to be on the good side, with 4-5 hours of screen on time.

    accessories
karbon bumper case has helped with the occasional drops

    Others
The audio performance is also excellent
Would like to see future updates fix all the mentioned issues

Dash Charge - one of the best thing one plus 5 have is the dash charging

Battery life - Good but can be much better

Accessories (your favorite's) - I like all the accessories of one plus but charged on a bit higher side

    Design, Build quality and Portability
The OP5 doesn’t come with the original design but when you held it in your hand it makes you feels lighter, slimmer and classy which means its bit slippery too.

    Display
OP5 5.5-inch AMOLED display is great. Its color is nice though some people report the jelly effect. But It did pretty decent job.
I love the reading mode it gives great reading experience. Sharp text even in the smaller font setting with consisting brightness.

    Connectivity, Network and Call quality
Call quality is good loud and clear voice in speaker.

    Performance
It performed pretty well when it came to handle multiple app together and show no lag even play 3D games. OP5 did not heat either while streaming video or playing games

    Camera
I love the camera of OP5 amazing performance with pro mode but I feel it needs some improvement in software as the edges is not so smooth in the portrait.

    Oxygen OS
It’s light and it runs pretty smooth, despite the power saving customization by OnePlus.

    Dash Charge
Dash charger is the one more feature that is amazing quality. Charge it for 20 min and used almost a day i.e. make me go for it.

    Battery life
I easily managed to work full day and sometimes I am left with more than 30 percent at the end of the day.

    Accessories
I don’t have any except sandstone case which add an extra grip to the OP5 as its bit slippery.

    xSilv, Jul 30, 2017 :
This is my first review of a phone so I hope I am doing it right. The review is written from the point of view of a moderated geek with advanced knowledge to smartphones and their possibilities.

My utilized smartphones/tablets so far are:
    Phones: Samsung Galaxy S I / HTC ONE X / LG G2 / Samsung Galaxy S III / OnePlus One / Samsung Galaxy S 7
Tablets: Ipad 4 / Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) / Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

    Prequel:
I have know the company OnePlus from the beginning when we had to beg for a invitation to buy the phone.
My experience then was great. The price was way below the Samsugn Galaxy S 5 at that time with the same specifications except water resitance.
But since the S5 needed flaps to do that, it was not a dealbreaker that the OnePlus was not water-resistant.
The whole changing from Cyanogenmod to OxygenOS was not a good experience but the OnePlus had continued to focus on their own OS up till today so I am giving them another chance.
I have followed the release live on YouTube but was too afraid to order immediatly.
Afterwards I was still doubting the phone due to the many negative reviews given over the internet.
It was difficult to know if the concurrents put the egative rumors on the internet or that there are really unlucky guys in the world.
But in the end I could not resist and ordered the OnePlus 5 knowing that if I had issues I could return the phone within 15 days without reasons asked. That was pulling the trigger for me.
So I ordered my device (OnePlus 5 128GB) on 15/07 and it was estimated to be delivered 31/07.
But I got lucky with the stock and it was in my hands on 25/07.
The production date of the phone is 10/07/2017 and had OxygenOS 4.5.5 on it and prompted to update to 4.5.6 hotfix.
    • Design, Build quality and Portability (size/weight)
    Packaging
When I received the package I was already afraid because it was something just in a plastic DHL Express bag.
And as supposed the box was just in a cardbox not much bigger as the phone box and I had a small dent on the top of the box.
I heard that OnePlus increased the cost due to better packaging material, but for the next phone I rather pay less and have decent bubble paper wrapped around it instead of a prettier box.
Nowadays nobody cares about the packaging. It is the same as removing the earphones, nobody really cares.
    Design
I read many accuses about it looking like the Iphone 7 plus. The guys who say it have really no knowledge of the history of smartphones.
Remeber how ugly the Iphones looked like in the beginning and that they started to copying Samsungs models.
And for the last 3 years all they did was making the phone exactly the same but with increasing screen size (and removing the earphone jack).
In my humble opinion we don't need a unique device but a fully functional and logic design which the OnePlus does.
The positioning of the fingerprint reader in the front is great as unlocking the phone is easier when it is lying on the table or in a car docking station.
The next generation will probably have the fingerprint sensor integrated in the screen itself.
Headphone jack on the bottom is also better than at the top since most of us put their phone upside down in their pockets.
The alert slider is the best addition they could do but more software customization would be appreciated. More on that on the part of OxygenOS.
The only negative pointI have on the design is the camera bump. I would rather like a thicker phone with more battery than the bump.
    Portability
The phone itself feels great in the hand. The curving makes it really easy to hold despite it's size but as said in many videos is slippery. So a case is highly advised.
As size goes I think it is the ideally dimension for people in Europe. In Asia people tends to have bigger phones since they travel a lot in public transport.
The weight distribution feels nice too. My S7 is smaller but feels heavier so good job on OnePlus for creating such a nice device.
    • Display (and Reading Mode)
The display is great. Colors and details are crispy but this is a pretty personal opnion. Even on my S7 I did not enable QHD to save some battery power.
IMHO 1080p is more than enough for the majority of people.
There are multiple color modes to chose but for me the default ones was the best pick.
I watch a lot of pictures, manga, anime and movies on my phone and I don't have the impression that I am watching something of low quality.
Of course if you put it next to a QHD screen then you would notice the difference after some time staring but who in the real world would do that?
The reading is a bit more of a marketing stunt like Samsung did. I can understand the use on a tablet but on a smartphone it just does not feel right to read books.
Unless OnePlus is preparing to make a tablet I think this option is only handy for reducing battery use.
    • Connectivity, Network and Call quality
Best reception yet. I live in a new construction with a lot of concrete and insulation.
I almost tried every provider on every phone. None of the combination had signals inside my house.
Now with the OnePlus 5 I got some signal around -110db. Which is not much but still at least some signals comes true.
I did not have enough time to test out thoroughly the call quality. But I think it is so basic for a smartphone that it will be no problem. I will update the post if not the case.
One downside is that the bluetooth shuts off automatically if nothing is connected and it does not auto power on afterwards.
This annoying when I wear my smartwatch and forget to enable bluetooth.
I don't even think it is a handy feature since bluetooth uses low energy mode by default nowadays.
Unless they changed something since BT 5.0?
    • Performance (SD835/RAM)
You can't have a snappier smartphone for this price! Really I was afraid about the lag and heat issues I read about on the forum.
Luckily my device has no problems or yet to discover maybe?
Out of the box the phones feels just clean and fast. Without all the bloatware from the manufacturer.
Which the main reason I changed from Samsung. They are just trying to re-make every app on the market into their own. So far no success... :)
I have around 90 applications installed and 5 homescreens with widgets. Not once had I the feeling that I need to close some apps to improve the speed.
Even the applications settings tab opening super fast. Which normally takes a longer time to compile on other smartphones.
And it keeps most of the apps open in the background without sacrificing in battery.
So everything is just blazing fast and optimized. I would not settle for less anymore (no pun intended) xD
    • Camera
The camera is as expected a bit above average. But I am no professional photographer. Even with my S7 I had a lot of bad pictures taken.
And when you look at other sellers there are not always great in everyday live. Of course the posted pictures on website are absolute stunning.
But you don't know the lighting condition at the time taken nor if it is processed afterwards by the camera software or external software.
So I hope whoever reads this. Just settle with the thought that you can make beautiful pictures with this phone but just not like a studio one.
Maybe if OnePlus did not advertise the camera as a selling point it would be better accepted by the public.
I tried the bokeh/portrait mode on both things and people. It is a nice to have and make you feel like a real pro... almost :)

    IMG_20170725_120647_Bokeh.jpg
    • Oxygen OS
One word: FAST! I have used many devices but this thing is really responsive and fluid out of the box.
You can always achieve this on other devices but normally by setting the animations to 0.5x so opening seems faster.
But once the opening animation is done it would slow down again. On the OnePlus 5 everything is just faster.
I live the customizations also but just make sure they work or logic. Example: batterycharing led set to orange and it still shows blue.
The scheduled reboot should be able to make it weekly instead of daily.
But nonetheless I think Oxygen grew better over time and it will still grow.
Just listen to your customers and have some common logic and all will be fine.
There is no OS that satisfies everybody.
    • Dash Charge
SUPERB! Never had I a smartphone that stayed cool while charging and charging so fast.
Yesterday I stood up with phone at 3% and I stayed in bed while playing on it for 45min and it was charged up to 80% whithout have the burning feeling on other phones.
Though the standard cable should be longer.
    • Battery life
The battery life is also much above average. Maybe due to OxygenOS, maybe due to Android 7.1 or other things.
But as most of you I have around +/- 6 till 8 SOT with heavy use (without gaming of course).
And I read there will be a patch released to even improve that so I am very excited!!!
    • Accessories (your favorite's)
I forgot to order and now I find it too expensive to have a free delivery at 100 euros...
Sorry, I already used all my money on the phone...
But if I have to chose it would be the car charger which looks awesome.
And the backpacks looks awesome and simple too. Just like OxygenOS.
    • Other features you'd like to share
Fingerprint reader is absolute the most enjoyable feature on this phone.
Quickly unlocks the phone and extreme accurate which is better than some iris scanner.
Because I use the phone a lot at night too :)

PART_1500487281928.jpg PART_1500487281928.jpg PART_1500487281928.jpg Little back story last phone before this was the OnePluted to get this right when it came out but held on to the one. however 2 weeks ago while pulling out my keys a key fob for the corner of my phone and fell to the corner of the ledge in front of my door got a crack and lost half the sensors on the screen so upgraded have had this phone for 2 weeks.

as far as size and dealing this phone is so thin my GF has a iPhone 7plus and my coworkers got the Galaxy 8 they feel so thick compared to this . the phone is pretty light compare to the others.

    Display (and Reading Mode)
I'm happy with the display I haven't experience the jelly effect a lot of people mention videos look nice on here. reading mode I have not used yet still prefer books the old fashion way.

    Connectivity, Network and Call quality
so far so good I've gotten reception in a few places I was not able to with the OnePlus one for instance inside the walk-ins at my work before as soon as I would go in no service. call quality is cool only thing I kinda don't like is the swiping down to answer.

    Performance (SD835/RAM)
It's insane not laggy at all sometimes I'm surprise by how many apps I have open in the recent apps. I've even have music and or a few things going on on purpose to see how it will handle them all and don't notice lag at all
    Camera
Just wow come on 20Mp and 2 16s makes such a difference jumping from the one to the 5 can see the biggest difference, would have been awesome if it had a slow motion feature but photos are just great throw in the portrait feature and photos look professional
    Oxygen OS
Always been a fan of droids no complaints here.
    Dash Charge
Are you kidding me this is one of the best things ever don't know why other companies haven't made the switch yet from 0-100 in less than an hour, there's time my phone's about to die like 5% plug it in at work for 5 minutes before I leave and I'm like at 20% no lie seems like in 1min. you go up 2-3% charge
    Battery life
It's really good I've used it to binge on Netflix and you can go multiple movies and or shows without a problem. once I left my phone at 5% was texting for like 30 mins back and forth before it died on me

    Accessories (your favorite's)
dash car charger is great you can use any with the cable will charge fast but the one specific for this is on another level, haven't bought other accessories been wanting to get a watch but not sure which is the best or most compatible with the 5

Other features you'd like to share
another thing I don't like is the group messaging wish they would all be tied together just sucks when a few people are in a group text you miss it then you try and put the convocation together to make sense. the shortcut features are nice like the 3 fingers to screenshot(if enabled).
