ShawnTea , via OnePlus 8T , Feb 28, 2021 : There's a weird circular ring on my oneplus 8t screen. At first I thought it was my screen protector, but I changed 3 so far and they still have the same rings. Taking pic of it is hard as it is seen clearly by the human eye and not through phone camera.
banandhi , via OnePlus 8T , Feb 28, 2021 : Amoled screen burn in, lower the display brightness completely, switch off the phone for some time at least for ten mins Restart the phone again, check if the issue still persist, if yes, then take it to the service center for screen replacement.

Anyways, now that we are proud owners of the flagship device, we need to be hopeful. New OP logo should be 'Now Settled' ,,,,,,,😭

X1603141720046 , Mar 5, 2021 : Can't agree with this. I use Nova...been using it for years....but the fact is that for me the stock launcher is in fact smoother. When using Nova I have to swipe a little more firmly to pull down the bar, or up to open the app page. When using stock the effort to swipe up or down is much easier...takes a lighter touch. Now for sure Nova has a bazillion more settings to choose from if you're into all the various configurations. But for sheer smoothness and simplicity the stock launcher is pretty good! YMMV
banandhi , via OnePlus 8T , Mar 6, 2021 : Sure, can:t contradict your perception but I have been using Nova launcher in multiple OP devices, in my 5T, 7T and 8T and found it better than OOS launcher. Another option is Microsoft launcher which is also far more better than OOS launcher. I have been using SMS organizer for many yea s now as my primary messaging app which is very good in lot many aspects compared to the stock OOS app. can't suggest a call/phone app for now as I'm still searching for better one, true caller is a good app but has privacy concerns. The Google dialer which comes in 8T doesn't support call recording option and so I use the OP dailer of 6, 6t which has the call recording option and works well in 8T. For missed calls, messages and other app led notifications I use notify buddy which I found it to be good. Parallel whatsapp doesn't work properly, and so I use whatsapp for business for my second sim. SOT doesn't get reset after the 90% charge, which should be the case but it never happens both in Nord and 8T, everytime you have to charge your phone to 100, which not good for the battery health, still searching for an app which will help me reset the SOT. I use GCAM which is far more better pictures, anyways camera has never been an ISP of OP devices starting from 5 series, but have to say 7T captures better pictures than my 8T. So

Liehjan , Mar 6, 2021 : If it's screen burn in it's permanent... Restarting phone won't make it go away. Only fix for burn in is a screen replacement.
