How often do new phones need to be produced to keep up with the demands and "needs" of the customer.

    http://www.technobuffalo.com/2016/03/25/oneplus-3-benchmark-and-specs-show-beefy-powerhouse/

"The device allegedly packs a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage[IMG], a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow."

personally I don't find Marshmallow an all in all new version, more of a light update from Lollipop.

Let's see what we can complain about ;)

Probably won't have NFC, wireless charging and quick updates when Android N comes out - anything else I forgot?

Depends what customers you're targeting and how good you are at convincing them it's worth the upgrade.

Upgraded to the OP2 mainly due to the fingerprint reader, improved camera, screen, build quality, and price but I didn't need to.

I will again on a yearly basis if there continues to be improvements at a reasonable price but one issue that may catch up with this cycle is the inability to exploit the hardware capabilities of the existing hardware. I think they have been slow to do this on the OP2.

I so hope the "leaked" specs hold. At least for the screen resolution. Hope it will be priced well too. Oh and to someone who thinks 32gb is too little i'm sure that's the former 16gb model. I'm sure there is at least 64gb in the better version that everyone will buy.

    2) i skipped on op2, but if op3 is coming out and a chance of really receiving it in june, i will wait for it.

I hope they eliminate the 16GB model on the OP3. And what's up with all the people still wanting 1080p screens on a flagship device?

The people still wanting FullHD screen are the ones who realize that anything above brings so little gain that the negative effects like strain on battery and gpu make it all more of a negative thing overall.
