The in ear ones give better sound but arent as comfortable as the over the ear ones( especially on a warm day) . The over the ear ones dont have the best sound(more background noise) but thats a good thing especially if you're jogging and need to be as aware as possible. I'd say go with over ear headphones.

I like running with Koss Porta Pro. They do not slip out of your ears and they provide good sound quality. Sort of.. if you like bass. :)

Don't jog with headphones. My opinion. Not particularly safe - I hate dodging walkers and runners that can't hear your horn or you shouting "coming up" on your bike and then they dart over and nearly cause you to wipe out.

I second these, and they'll never fall out of your ears

I'm in the same boat. Only when I go running, I have to hold the phone and the earbuds fall out about every quarter mile.

Not sure how well all sony in-ears are, but I've never been disappointed with using sony in-ear headpones while running. I've had the same headphones falling out problem with every other pair I've ever had, but I've had 3 pairs of sony in-ears that haven't failed me. Again I haven't used the widest range of headphones, so take that with a grain of salt.

Who needs a arm band with Bluetooth headphones I recommend the Jay bird bluebuds x. But I also heard duct tape works. No seriously make a duck tape one with either a screen cut out or plastic

Whether you choose to use standard headphones or bluetooth headphones, you still need something to carry your phone and a couple of keys (house and/or car). That's why I was asking about an armband...

I had a look at the SPIbelts and they're quite nice, but since I don't have problems with my in-ear a-JAYS Three I would avoid spending 30-40€ for bluetooth headphones I don't really need. Therefore, my only choice is an armband if I want to change song or adjust the volume while running.

I use just normal headphones and don't turn out off my ear^^ The in-Ear ones makes a bad feeling inthe ears. And it makes a border between you and the world around you.
But i guess that the Problem with an armband is, that the cable is very uncomfortable. If you hab bluetooth Headohones it would be better, of course ;)

Dude, when you have it in an armband what difference doest it make? Are you really saying you feel a difference if the phone is 3 cm longer and 30 g havier on your shoulder??

I love to run with my phone. I never really got on with the arm bands. You can get running shorts with small zip up pockets at the back which generally do the trick. I have Karrimor shorts which all seem to have pockets. I managed to squeeze a Galaxy note in so a One plus One should work fine.

i have this armband : the opo fits inside almost perfectly. The only con is the quality of the armband, it doesn't seem very "strong", i think it will be destroyed in less than a year...
and the other bad things for girls or men with small (thin) arms : the opo is bigger than my arm so it moves around it when i run..
