    I second this.
I needed to flash ONLY the firmware part of CM12 (you can find the zip in the XDA thread regarding slimsaber rom) to have my primary back. No need to flash again the whole primary rom.

    thats an interesting find!!
What I did was, cm12-primary. installed SFOS as secondary with cm11 as base zip.
Then wiped the primary rom (except internal) and restored the backup. It boots without any problems :)

This is the zip with the firmware of CM12. Just flash it from recovery after you install sailfishos if you are running cm12 or derivatives as primary and you should be happy and running again with your primary.

I'd say you better clean cache and dalvik as well...

I am afraid anyhow that this could have side effects on sailfish os in itself (for instance radio access) but being that very alpha at this moment I can't tell which is which :)

A friend of mine has a Jolla phone and I only hear him complaining. Especially about the Android integration (services, apps, settings and so on). This is a guy is not a iRetard user.
I must say I'm puzzled that so many people here are interested in this port. It works like crap on hardware made specifically for it so I'm afraid it will be hell to use this on the OPO. But then again, it's fun to try something different... as long as you can go back to Android as a daily driver.

Flashing firmware will create issue in sailfish. It will boot but applications won't run. You need the firmware (modem partition) of cm11 for Running apps in sailfish, and Cm12 also does not seem to have problem with it. The culprit is 'tz.mbin'. It needs to be skipped in the cm11 flash zip.

Multirom seems to duplicate only system cache and data partitions. All other partitions including firmware(modem), aboot, tz, logo, etc. seems to be overwriteen with any flash whether primary or secondary.

And in our case the problem with cm12 is caused by overwritten 'tz' and not the firmware.
