    Neoharys. , via OnePlus 8 , Oct 5, 2020 :
I bought my OnePlus 8 four months ago, today I removed it's pre-applied screen protector and noticed there's a scratch on the screen. I feel like I've been cheated by OnePlus, my device is still under warranty but the return window is closed. Except for the scratch the phone works without any issues, I'm going to use this phone atleast for 4 years and the scratch is literally on the centre. What can I do now? please help me

It's my mistake for trusting a premium company that there won't be a scratch beneath the screen protector after 4 months?

You could try a warranty replacement. The problem is however to prove that you didn't cause the scratch yourself

Any suggestions how can I prove it? I know it's late now, but I literally had no idea the scratch was on the screen and not on the protector. This is the only helpful comment I got so far, thanks

Well... A tricky situation. Maybe they can prove it via a microscope inspection comparing flawless areas and the scratch and do a qualified guess on your claims. But it can very well be a word against word issue.

So should I take it to the service center and see what happens?

Even I have got pretty deep scratch in mid of my Op8 Display, I have tried Tempered glass with "UV Glue" as the glue get into the crease of deep scratches it filled in soo well and ever since i couldn't even find a single scratch at all (unless u remove the protective UV glass). Trust me Glazedinc UV glass for Op8 is the best.

It cannot be solved in the forum.
You should ignore it or try a magical screen repair fluid

    Hallo

Install new Nano Tpu film or liquid Nano.
It's self repair and you don't see the scratches on your screen.
    Try eBuy, schutsfolien24, Amazon.
Haved same by my first device, don't worry.

    Regards

So you say you saw the scratch earlier and thought it was on the screen protector right? So from when did you see this scratch? Immediately after purchase or later? If it was later then it means there was some physical damage which means it is not a scratch but a hairline crack which should have happened from a fall it a hard hit or something.
