    I have been trying but unfortunately they keep dismissing it. I've probably got a defective device since my screen usage tops out at 4-5 hours and this screen colour banding issue. After my trips to the service center, all that they did was hard reset my phone and give it back. Is there anyway to take this up with the higher ups at OnePlus?

    No I don't think so.
    The issue is also present in phones which does not have an indisplay fingerprint scanner.

    Yes then you should visit the service centre and demand them for replacement.
    I replaced my phone due to green tint issue.

    I showed them the issue by comparing it to other oneplus 8t and they did find the defect and since it was under the 15 days replacement policy they gave me a new device

    I've honestly never seen the level of ignorance that OnePlus has shown me here. After sending the device in for diagnostics (even though the evidence was in front of them) they are returning the device to me as is tomorrow.

    Try these settings

    Settings>Display>Advanced>screen calibration >select vivid

    Settings>Display>Advanced>refresh rate >select 120Hz

    Settings>Display>vibrant color effect > Turn ON

    I think it should not be there in one plus 8T. I never feel this issue on my oneplus 8T except phone is on charging.

    I am at the service center now and they said that colour banding is characteristic of the displays of OnePlus 7T and later (which is possibly the most insane excuse that I've heard)
