    To Whom It May Concern,

    It is stated that I have a phone OnePlus 7 Pro, in my possession for the past May,2019; I have taken the extended warranty for my phone and the it is extended till... 21 May 2021, the phone was working fine until I noticed that it had screen burn issue.. the PUBG controls are always there on screen and quiet visible in a white background. As it is a internal problem and my mobile is still under warranty I would like to know the screen replacement procedure.

    I'm attaching the bill of my phone.

    Waiting to hear back from the department. Thanks,

    J Namata

    There is no one here from oneplus... This is a user forum.. and as fas as i known screen burn in is a user error.. no one asked you play pubg for long hrs at max brightness... So is probably not covered under warrenty

    Hi there, Welcome to the community forum. Community forum is made of users and its not a customer support service.

    The customer support is available at www.oneplus.in/support

    Screen burns are not covered under warranty as it is a normal wear and tear due to use and its not a hardware problem or defect.

    If you still want to apply for screen replacement, you can do so via "Book a repair" option available in OnePlus care app.

    Hope this helps.

    I had a severe burn in issue and dead pixels too. I have extended warranty and the service center replaced my screen FOC.

    Pubg = high temperature.
    If you got burn in, it means you easily played pubg regularly for 2-4hours/day

    Pubg = high heat generation
    I also assume u use quite +60% brightness too

    Here is ur answer why you have screen burn-in.

    I have it too, its not hardware issue, its down-side of AMOLED panels.

    World class display panel with a cost, burn-in issue on long-periods of use.

    Just like physical damages not being covered under warranty by any company

    Does extended warranty equate to a guarantee? Because screen burn in under a warranty is unheard of 👀
