So i recently got a new android update on my 6T and since that update I've been experiencing screen burn in, and it wasn't there before this update. Could this be a problem related to this update or is it just now started ? it's my notifications bar, my keyboard, and only just now things from frequently used apps that wasn't there before and haven't opened it before it showed up.

It wasn't the update that caused Screen Burnin, it's playing games at high brightness for long periods of time. It may mean you have to get the screen replaced.

Take it to a OnePlus Approved Service centre and they may be able to help you.

Any static image for a long time on the screen will cause burn in. It is a physical damage and not due to an update.

Again, it is caused by high brightness on the phone, whatever is displayed in the burn in is from something left static on the screen for a long period. It's usually from playing games, but can be from other apps that are used for long periods at that high brightness.

Can you post a pic of the burn in, Not a screenshot, as that will show nothing. Take the picture with another camera and post it.

I assume you browse through those apps frequently and keep the phone at high brightness.
Or else, the notification bar wouldn't have burnt in.

In any case, take your phone to service center and check with them if it is a free replacement. I doubt it though.
