Screen Cast Not Working 7 Pro Jun 15, 2019

    Just tried casting from my OnePlus 7 Pro to my LG TV and the phone just keeps searching and does not find the TV.
    One previous OnePlus phones never had an issue (2, 3 and 6)

    However if I am using the Youtube or Netflix Apps the cast functions in those apps work fine but of course can knly view stuff in those apps.

    I just updated the phone to most recent update too (had the same problem before updating, hoped the update would fix it)

    Just tried the cast screen and was able to cast to the Chromecast on my Samsung TV as well as to my Google home hub.

    It works just find to me go to settings-search cast- from the menu on the right click and make sure wireless its on... Note I had to try it twice and make sure my lg tv was on screen share

    cheers yeah had to click the 3 dots and "enable wireless display" was off...why is that even off by default? If I turn on casting why is there an option that makes it not work? Must have been on by default on my previous as I don't remember having to turn it on :p

    Screencast/Miracast and Chromecast are totally different.

    LG needs Miracast, which really bites. Its not really "casting" but just a screen mirror and can't display copy protected content. To use it, you need to set the "Enable Wireless Display" checkbox. You may have internet problems when using this feature.

    Best bet is to get a Chromecast

    Hi, guys who can help me I dropped my mobile and screen cracked but has been working normally since, until yesterday decided to die on me blackout the screen now I can't even see anything. Before the phone dropped I had USB debugging enabled through developer options but now my problem is I can't enable or tick the option to select USB file transfer type when I plug in the USB cable. I should have chosen the action to always connect when USB is plugged in. The touch screen is still responsive though

    Is there any chance or way I can enable this option all I want is to get my stuff backed up to a PC?

    Also if that doesn't work can someone with OnePlus 3t on the latest updated software send me screenshots how to navigate from settings > cast menu so that I can try and guess where I'm touching in order to select mirror cast to Chromecast and enable USB option because the android menu interface has totally changed with recent update OxygenOS 9.0 .

    Once you get the blue screen giving the details of the casting puck, and you can't get any further, there is an almost invisible button on the side of the casting puck.

    Play a Yutube and press that mode button on the casting puck, and be surprised.

    No support from one plus customer care
    No one answers the call
    No response on WhatsApp no.
    If cast function is there, then why should it not work
    I have enabled the wireless display as well

    I have error 500 when trying to cast on my OLED B8 front Oneplus 7t pro. Had no problem casting from Xiaomi phone. Aby fix on this?
